  1. Rookies that will help in 2025 1 Tyler Black He will be the left handed 1b for about 60 games along with a little outfield work and being a left handed pinch hitter. 2 Caleb Durbin He should have the utility infield position at least. Maybe he can start of hot and hold onto the regular 3b position. 3 Craig Yoho He should be in the middle of the bullpen by May and be a fixture there for a long time. I could see him getting some 7th and maybe even 8th inning work in 2025. 4 Logan Henderson He should get a start or two when somebody in the rotation goes down. It is up to him if he sticks. 5 Robert Gasser Whenever he is strong and healthy enough. He was so good last year before he got hurt.
  2. He was a great once through the rotation starter (2-3) innings. Maybe do that every four to five days or when teams put out a heavy left handed lineup?
  3. Nice synopsis of the offensive side of baseball. To add my two cents... Most overlooked and important stats in baseball Offense...Runs Scored per nine innings. See above Pitching...ERA. It's just the opposite of Runs Scored. If you don't give up a run, you cannot lose. Errors must be added to the equation because that is one thing the pitcher cannot control on his side of the ball. Defense...Errors per nine innings... You will not get to everything, but if you limit errors you are not giving away runs. Pretty simple equation and I think the Brewers Brass do a good job of evaluation to put the best team on the field for the parameters they are assigned .
  4. I am looking for Yoho to have a similar 6 years as Williams did. I imagine he could be our closer in years 4-6.
  5. Arraez for D Williams and another minor league piece. Both teams can get a comp pick at the end of the next year and they reduce their salary by about 7 million. We solve our infield problem with letting Brice play SS and get a plus hitter into our lineup.
  6. What about Clarke Schmidt for Devin Williams? I think we would have to add, but three years of control on a number three starter would be awesome. Maybe CS and Roc Riggio for DW and Tyler Black. I don't know much about Riggio, but he has a very cool name, lol.

  8. We have a great young team, but can’t afford A long-term $200 million contract. why not let Adames go and sign a short term shortstop/3rd baseman who can hit 30 home runs. Add a better left-handed third baseman then Bauer, someone like Carlos Santana. Then try to find another starter that could be at least a two. I understand the point of being cost conscious, but we can spend a little money for one year just to see if we could make it happen. If Brandon W comes back toward the end of next year, and everybody else stays healthy, we would have a legitimateshot.

  10. Marlin Sell Off Any interest in Luzardo?
  11. I would do Boeve and Henderson for Flahrety. Maybe another low level guy.
  12. Brewers sign Meccage for $2.5 million. 940,000 over slot.
  13. Jesus Luzardo for Eric Brown Jr and Chad Patrick, and a MLB reliever who is not in the top four.
  14. Adams is not going to resign, so Joey and Turang will then cover SS. That will give black 90 starts at 3B. He can get another 50 at 1B because everything else at 1B is short term unless you think Bauers is the answer. I would think most people don't. Trading him for short term pitching is just not smart.
  15. I have been following him at Nashville and it seems as if he cannot get his act together. He is giving up a lot of walks and not missing very many bats. Is he just working through the shoulder surgery or is it something else?
  16. Until I know what I have with DL Hall, Joe Ross, and Junis, I am going to stand pat. No need to panic with the way our current starters are pitching.

  18. Brewers claim Vladimir Gutierrez . Maybe he can be our inning eater.
  19. Lorenzen signs with Texas and the clock begins to tick.
  20. Weren’t the Giants interested in Adames? Maybe something like this would work. NAME POSITION SURPLUS JD Davis 1B 4.4 Mason Black SP 5.2 Reggie Crawford SP 5.2 Total Value: 14.80 Giants NAME POSITION SURPLUS Willy Adames SS 11.1 Luke Adams 3B 3.3 Total Value: 14.40
