Davis has really surprised me lately. He really looks like he's found a groove. (Pardon my use of the word "look". As a resident of the state of Minnesota, I was teased with Brewers games on TV until the Twins killed Victory Sports. Now I'm back to watching the Twins and either listening to the Crew on the radio or following at MLB.com. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif ) That said, Davis has been really good lately, and he deserves a much better W/L record than the one he possesses. As for Lawrence, I've actually seen him pitch, and I follow him a bit because I have him on a fantasy team. He's benefitted from run support a couple different times, but he's got ability. He strikes me as one of those "boom or bust" pitchers, in terms of his ability to control all his pitches at the same time. He's had a lot of trouble finding the strike zone at various points this season, with 22 walks in about 54 IP. The Brewers have to be patient with this guy and make him throw strikes. For the most part, he's been really unimpressive on the road this season.
