    I use MLB.com. I don't know that they're faster or more accurate or anything like that. I like their graphic presentation. Honestly, ESPN GameCast might be better. I wouldn't know because I never use it.

    Factoids from today's game notes: -- Dougie is 1-1 (3.48 ERA) lifetime against the Pirates; 0-1 (4.50 ERA) in three games at PNC Park. -- Jason Bay is 3-7 lifetime against Dougie; Tike Redman is 5-10; Matt Lawton is 0-5. -- As a team, the current Pirates are 20-66 (.303) with 4 RBI lifetime against Dougie. -- Dougie's only hit last season came against...drumroll...Pittsburgh (July 30). -- Brady Clark is 6-14 with 3 RBI lifetime against Wells (Kip, not David); Lyle Overbay is 5-10 with 2 HR and 3 RBI; King 3TO is 5-19 with 2 HR and 2 RBI; Damian Miller is 1-10 with 1 RBI, as is Bill Hall. -- As a team, the current Brewers are 31-112 (.277) with 4 HR and 12 RBI against Wells (Kip, not David).

    Nothing is more frustrating than guys who have no clue how to shorten their swing when they have two strikes on them in a clutch situation. With two out and nobody in scoring position, I could give a crap if someone swings for ******on and strikes out. But Branyan doesn't do that. We already have enough wind turbines on this team. We didn't need another one. If the Brewers don't want legions of potential ticket-buyers to head to St. Norbert College starting this weekend, they might want to figure this out. Soon.

    I hate WGN. And I hate the fact that I live in Minnesota, so WGN is the only shot I have of watching any of these games. Chip Caray is a jackass. And maybe someone should tell them that the first "d" in Podsednik is silent. You'd think after 19 meetings last year and three more this year, they'd learn that. Also nice were the excuses made for the Cubs. Two runs and 31 strikeouts, my fellow Brewer fans, had NOTHING to do with the Brewers' pitchers and EVERYTHING to do with a sudden team-wide slump. At least Po is off the bases now. Chip and Steve Stone can stop mispronouncing his name for at least a few minutes.
