    I loved Rose as a kid. I had tears when he passed Cobb. He is one of the greatest players in the history of the game. Then, he bet on a game that he played in. Then, he bet on a game that he managed. He should never, ever be enshrined into the Hall. Baseball rule #1. He knew this better than anyone. I loved Pete. I saw him in Vegas about 10 years ago hawking his autograph and picture...I walked the other way.

    I was at this an as mentioned above the "Eddie hits the pole" game. While there were only about 20,000 people there that afternoon, Miller Park had tremors of awesomeness that day! I then drank copious amount of beer. We also were blessed by Brooks striking out Junior that day. So much fun!

    Adding Jordan to the Bucks might allow them to be near the top of the NBA in defense. That said, Game05 is correct in that someone (MCW) is going to have to change their approach on offense.

    I picked up 4 tickets for the Cubs V Brewers game on August 1 (row 218). $42 Face. Of course, I now have a conflict (my 14-year old and a 5 Seconds of Summer Concert in St. Paul). I'd like to move them for something close to face or flip them for something later in August. PM or replay here if interested. I love being the Dad of a teen-age girl...

    Is there logic to tagging Gomez with Garza, for example? If you want Carlos, then Matt has to tag-along? Or, would that depress the return too much? just my thought, but I hope we see a version of "crazy Doug" and everything must go...and the discounts are low, low low!!!

    Alternate Blue would be a great idea. I wouldn't mind some blue piping on both home and away jerseys, but maybe blue warm-ups would be enough. I too wouldn't mind a muted version of what GS does for their alternate...but please....no sleeves! Oh, I also agree that what the Hawks come up with will be brutal.

    If there is a bit of blue (like the collar, as mentioned) then I really think these are cool.

    I don't know if Sardinas can hit well enough for 3rd, but an interesting idea. Three IF positions could be locked down.

    My guess is they go outside the current coaching staff. I don't know if who they hire will matter much, but understand why the change was made.

    Great win tonight! So close to being a 2-2 series. I don't expext the Bucks to win on Monday, but I know that I have enjoyed the heck out of the last two games!

    I thought there was some poor calls, too. However, Wisconsin had or could have overcome those with a bit better guard play. I wonder if the collective energy was just spent. What a great two-year run! I grew up in the Yoder years, so it's pretty easy to have gratitude for all this.

    Keeping Milwaukee as a host city for NCAA is great. Losing NCAA would not be equal to or greater than losing the Bucks.

    While I don't haunt the site like the "old days", I still make sure to stop in a couple time a week for sure.

    I don't mind the cream. Since I stink at laundry, I won't have to worry about dingy white anymore!
