  1. .........................................damn........................................
  2. Ok, it was 3-1 and I went to get my 3yr old to take a nap. I just got up and hear that it is 3-3. What in THE HELL happened?
  3. Any chance that JDLR or Ben H. might get recalled? Even Pedro might be kind of fun.
  4. Nice to see Danny Kolb with a punch out and mike Adams being just nasty.
  5. Sorry to drag you down, Hoffy. My bad.
  6. Good to know that Al is here and has been appointed the independent evaluator of what is sensible and intelligent. If we all could as gifted as Al.
  7. They won, so props to Ned and the team. I like Ned and think we could and have done a lot worse @ the top of the dugout. However, just because his line worked today doesn't mean it was correct. As it turns out any line up would have worked (so long as it was sound on D) because of the pitching staff. So, saying that this was the "right" line up to play is, at best, off base.
  8. How is the other shoe going to drop?
  9. I hope someone in the hard hitting Milwaukee media does follow that one up with Ned and Cappy. re: 84 pitches.
  10. I just got in from mowing the lawn. 2-0, Crew? I'm waiting for the Florida recount on this one. Just a non-partisan joke. PLEASE NO POLITICAL DEBATES!!!!!!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  11. Dontrelle and the run line seem safe today. This line up V. the 1995 strike team Spring Training lineup? Pretty even battle. That 95 team could "battle".
  12. The 'Crew is looking all 2002 again. In fact, the 02 club was better on offense. I wish it was September right now, then these games would have some sort of obscure value.
  13. Um................What is going on? I applaud trying some different ideas when things are going poorly. This is certainly a different one. Rock on, Ned.
  14. You know, living under the rule of Apes doesn't seem so bad compared to this.
  15. my reaction to this game:................................... ..................... ...................... ....................... ........................ .......................... ............................ ..................................... ............................................. I am heading to the ball park for tomorrow nights game. I live near Wausau. It will take me alomst 4 hours by the time we park, longer to get home. I have to work Thursday morning. With this said; IF FRIGGEN GARY BENNENT AND TRENT DURRINGING START, THERE WILL BE TROUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks, see you @ the game.
  16. In Ned's defense, Lopes and Royster did have a better offensive club to work with...until injuries and indifference set in.
  17. The line up is, shall we say, crafted in an interesting fashion.
  18. c'mon. 3 runs, that is alomst a weeks worth. Opportunity to win, now C'mon boys!
  19. Trent might as well hit clean-up.
  20. Brett, you are wise. On my way out to get teh 40 oz'ers. Gonna put them right by the TV to tease me.
  21. I'm going to drink a beer for every run the Crew scores this weekend..........might be a dry, dry time.
  22. Ok, why put the the C and P together? Why have Lyle hit 5. I'm OK with Russell, but move him down. Try Grieve in the 2 spot. Craig @ 8. Maybe this? Pods Grieve Billy Lyle Geoff Branyan Moeller Craig Cappy. Just a thought, but it's Ned's world and we just live in it.
  23. Here is to 34 more W's and getting one tonight. 81 or more and bring on '05. the dry streak over the last few days just washes out all the day-traders, the long term (fans preceding the 2002 disaster) are still pretty darn happy.
  24. Well......The offense is starting to look like an NCAA softball game. Thank God for the pitching. Most of us remember the 1999 team that was almost the opposite of this one. They one, like 74 game and had serious pitching issues. Now we get to be the hitless, or rather the "anti-clutch" team. I'm not sure if God or clutch hitting exists, but I do know that evil and anti-clutch does. One other thought, since Ned had a interesting line up for tonight, here is my stab at a unique one for tomorrow against Roger: Pods Grieve Lyle Keith Geoff Billy C Craig P
