Gonna lose two of three against Giants, another last place team we've struggled against. Wrap this season up this isn't a playoff team. Cubs running off Ws left and right vs last place teams. That's how it should be done.

Starting to get emotionally invested again so this is a loss.

I still am skeptical of Chase's velocity spike mid season. His whole career he's been 91-92 then mid season he jumped to 94-96. He's much more effective that way but I don't know if that velocity holds.

I guess I understand home runs in Colorado but how does Colorado effect batting average? Parra is like 60-70 over his normal BA, Reynolds same. How does that work??

My least favorite pitchers: garza, barnes, torres.

Yeah when I finally checked Cub's remaining schedule I was super bummed. Just a ridiculously easy schedule for them remaining. Super irritated. Maybe we can get in the wild card race.

I mean.... The cubs won the first game in the series 15 to 5. I love the optimism, but I have to wonder about your definition of "close". :D Haha! Forgot it was a four game series!

Just looked at the Cubs remaining games...ridiculously easy schedule remaining rest of season. Division games but other than that teams like Braves, Phillies and Mets. While Brewers face Dodgers Nationals and Rockies. If we somehow make it through we'll have EARNED it. I'm not hopeful but we'll see. Silver lining, Cubs aren't powerhouses and I don't see them getting out of the first round. -

Can't wait for machines. These guys have gotten so bad. This guy loves the high and outside ones. I wonder what it will take to make the change? I don't recall ever seeing it this bad. Not just on pitch trax but guys walking away shaking their head. A high profile blown strike or ball call in series? And yes, Santana struggling right now.
