  1. Anyone try one of those mypillows?? Any good?
  2. Reds have walked the first 2 hitters in the bottom of the 8th... Got out of it. Who is red's closer??
  3. Reds have walked the first 2 hitters in the bottom of the 8th... Of course. Those Cubs, just put together such good ABs (sarcastic bitterness).
  4. Definitive list: GOOD - Braun, Santana. PROBABLY GOOD - Shaw(been only one year), Arcia, Aguilar, Pina. PROBABLY NOT BAD - Broxton, Perez. BAD - Villar, thames (for position), Sogard.
  5. Reds go up! Cubs will probably come back though, they always come back
  6. I believe that April was a fluke. 770 OPS from a first baseman isn't very good at all. Thames isn't good.
  7. So I don't think thames is good. Is there any reason to think he is? What do advanced stats say?
  8. These words prove prophetic! The Cubs are not going to win the Central easily. Call it a hangover, the league figuring out those hot rookies or Maddon going senile. As you know, except for the Reds, the Central is basically a .500 division. Are any of us going to beat the Nationals and then the Dodgers??? Of course the Cubs get lucky that Harper goes down and Kershaw is still down. Hopefully that changes come playof time because without those guys the path for the Cubs is much easier. I'm firmly in the anyone but Cubs...or Cardinals haha sorry Dead Simmons.
  9. Barnes is terrible and has no control. Hitters bail him out swinging at terrible pitches.
  10. Ball four to scooter. I'll be consistent and say robot umps.
  11. Garza is le poo poo. Nibble nibble nibble.
  12. Terrible baserunning. Either that was an extra bases hit and easy to score or you should've tagged.
  13. Can someone explain the PR?? Braun is winning run...but what if we go to extras?
  14. Yeah definitely will hinge on what we give up. As long as it's nothing of any importance, this is fine.
  15. I did. Could have moved Jesus or Thames. It wouldn't of been unheard of to do this off-season. Maybe Cooper will stink but right now the way Thames is playing, I would take my chances on the 26 year old if this is a true rebuild. I'm not happy with thames either but when are you proposing we should have traded him? I'm off season he had no track record, in April he was God, then he's been average or crap since. Jesus is still pretty good, probably better than Cooper in long term.
  16. Like the view point. I'm going to try too... unless we get up 5.5 games again.
  17. At least he was smart enough to realize that even in a 6-2 game early on, the game was potentially at stake and did something about it. Totally agree. And it won't come back to bite twins. They'll have a reliever cover 3-4 innings likely.
  18. Molitor confident going to pen. "Just the Brewers, we'll be fine" hahaha
  19. I wish I could get drunk, rush onto the field, try to beat up some of the twins, get my ass kicked instead, then just pass out in a heap on the mound.
  20. The problem was the first three months. Got everyone emotionally invested. This was just supposed to be another rebuild year. Then all star break came and we were up 5.5 games and the team was fun. For it to crash in that fashion is brutal. Wish we'd just suck all year so I'd just casually check on them every now and then or at least not be so emotionally invested.
