So much credit to Mr. Marcum. Way to work through some bad defense and pain. Pass some along to the bullpen as well. What a job to work through the late innings in scoreless fashion. Four games up. Long way to go, but every one we win makes it tougher for them. Just. Keep. Winning.

Whew. Nice to get Pujols out of the way again at least. Was feeling reminded of why McGehee has drawn so much ire for a brief moment there. Now I'm back to feeling nice and kind. Though it's not like he couldn't improve his standing with another blast.

Tomorrow is a new day. They've got a shot to go out and polish off an 8-1 homestand. Even 7-2 to take over first by a game plus wouldn't be too bad. Yes, I'm trying to cheer myself up, but it is still early August. Really long way to go. If every game is like this, I'm really not sure I'll make it.
