  1. I am totally giving up the run to turn two. Come on, Saito!
  2. That JS Online article was hilarious. Lighting around home plate? Wow. Of course, that smells to me like it's more of a "Crazy, Imitation Sun Tzu Psych Out Tactic" than anything resembling a legitimate complaint. Someone should mail old Tony some night vision goggles to up the ante...
  3. I have no idea how that is an RBI, but I love it! T-Plush!!!
  4. I love T-Plush. Badger Mutual Insurance time, boys!
  5. Fantastic. That really felt like one the Crew might let slip away. Perfect homestand so far. There's only one way to make it better...
  6. For sure. Really high leg kicks on both attempts. Lucroy never had a chance.
  7. Wow. It looked like Lee just missed that one. I thought he hit it much better at first.
  8. Well, Hart's single at least made it possible for Plush to come in and hit ninth.
  9. Was thinking the same thing. Still no luck mastering that little piece of strategy for RRR.
  10. Wow, great wheel play! Well done, Brewers infield.
  11. I've heard this a lot, and I can see the reasoning, I think. But, the Angels are in contention in the AL West. They are trying to win games. It's the middle of a close game. How special is a pitching accomplishment if the offense takes attacking strategies off the table for fear of getting in the way of potential history? Come on, Narvy.
  12. I understand wanting to get Kotsay some at bats. I understand wanting to give Counsell a chance to boost his confidence. I understand doing this against a fairly punchless opponent at a time when Brewers starting pitchers have been on a role. But with the score 3-3 heading into the middle innings, it might be time to make some adjustments, RR. Maybe Hairston can pinch hit for one of those two guys at least?
  13. I'm not complaining about the result, but I'm not sure the squeeze is the most sound strategy there. Granted, Counsell is on deck, but I think Luc is a pretty good candidate to get that run in anyway. And he might have been able to hit safely while doing so. Nice to get on top, though.
  14. Man. Tough night for Lopez so far. 2 K's with a runner on third and less than two outs. Good work, Casey.
  15. Looks like 7 will be the ceiling for Yo tonight. 85 pitches through 5.
  16. McGehee hit the snot out of that ball, I'd say it was a pretty good AB. Maybe true. I thought he missed a couple of pitches, however. Strike one may have been up and out of the zone, and strike two looked like a bit of a hanger. Really thought he should have been able to do something there. Still, certainly a bit unlucky.
  17. A pretty bad AB from Lopez. Not much better from McGehee, but at least he hit it hard. Hate leaving runs on the table like that.
  18. For those frustrated with WMLW, Uecker is kind of punchy tonight. It's entertaining.
  19. A 20-some pitch, 1-2-3 inning for Yo. That shouldn't be frustrating, but, on some level, it is. Still, hopefully he can go deep into the game tonight. And be the recipient of much run support.
  20. Suddenly the bottom of the lineup gets stronger. Really like this pickup in so many ways. Cheap, versatile, decent hitter, decent defense, and all for a projected 4th outfielder. I liked Komatsu, but JHJ gives the team some much needed depth. Assuming he performs well, we might even see the end of two of Counsell/Wilson/Kotsay when (hopefully) Gomez and Rickie come back. Kudos, DM.
  21. Alright. Let's hope the Astros beat the Cards in 16 innings. That would be awesome in so many ways.
  22. Some combination of Loe/Hawkins/Saito. For now, though, go AX!
  23. Good work by K-Rod. Doubt he'll be available tomorrow.
  24. So, Ron, you couldn't have double switched there? I mean, if you were going to use Farris and he's really good defensively and Counsell made the last out from the 8 spot...
  25. I know Casey made that early error, but he's actually made some decent picks over at third today. Especially on a few slow rollers.
