Listening to Uecker alot this season and he seems (for whatever reason) to be in better health/ spirits. I attribute that to the Brewers awesomeness this year so far.

We won yesterday without Braun, and today we are without Braun again, so by the transitive property that means we will win tonight? Seriously though, that still is a nice lineup without him in there. Come on Brewers, let's guarantee a non losing series with a win tonight!

Given the 29 run series against the Reds, I have envisions of this series being more of a pitchers duel. That being said, I hope we rock Colon and get into their bullpen early.

The closest thing I could find was Lou Gherig had 14 homers against the Indians in one season. Just think with 6 games, Thames is halfway there.

Ueck seems to think it was a homer for Broxton.

Anyone know the record for consecutive homers against one team? Thames against the Reds has to be getting close to a MLB if not team record.

It bugs me that a show aimed for kids is considered canon. I've watched clone wars but that wasn't as kid based as Rebels. Anybody that has seen it, is it worth it?

I just read an interesting theory by a Pixar employee that Reys parents were in the Knights of Ren. Luke gave the lightsaber to her parents to be the heir knowing Kylo would turn. This angered Kylo and killed them. Similar to the end of Ep. 3, Luke hides Rey on a desert planet, away from the evil force users. I get the twist will probably be something simple, but if Rey isn't related to a Jedi, Sith, or Force user, I don't buy that her power over the lightsaber is greater than Kylo's

I think anyone would trade a couple of national championships for a few years of getting ousted the first weekend. This reminds me of the hypothetical question posed in the ML forum. Does one want a a guaranteed (ish) championship and potentially stinky performances to follow or does one want to be continually very solid with the hope that the dominos fall correctly.

Would it be fair to say that (generally speaking of course) that Melvin worried more about the floor than the ceiling and Stearns is showing more importance to ceiling than floor? I feel with DM, our range was rather narrow, but with DS our possible outcomes runs a bigger chunk of the spectrum.

My dog got into an unopened container of dates yesterday and proceeded to only throw up while my wife and I were (trying to) sleep. My dog should be fine now but that was a lot of dates. I should post in the What's not bugging you thread about my deep love of coffee.

Is it Phillips? I bet it's Phillips.... Some older (stupid) items were sold bundled with a DVD player, and to be cheap they would use a VGA 15-pin cable to go from the DVD player to the Subwoofer/speaker setup. It's a pretty awful setup, as you're required then to run everything through the DVD player to get sound out of the sound system. http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/cpindex.pl?ctn=HTS3450/37&dct=QAC&faqview=1&refdisplay=AVS_HTS_031&refnr=0006801&scy=GB&slg=ENG Well life made me wait until today to install this speakers. I picked up a VGA to HDMI adapter for my Phillips DVD player. I figured I'd try to play a DVD before I reroute everything through it. I have zilch coming out of all the new speakers and subwoofer. There's no power light on any of the speakers so I can't even tell if they are powered our not. Suggestions? -
Man those projections are brutal. Only a slight improvement from Orlando, Broxton falling even from his full year stats, Junior as our worst pitcher. Yikes! I second that those stats equal a horrible team.
