  1. One advantage of being in 2 separate 3 dog races is the good chance our competition will take each other out.
  2. I seem to remember in my lurking days, that when we had the chat room open most of the venting was in there.
  3. Nice way to wiggle out of the 5th with relatively few pitches
  4. Not to add proverbial fuel to the fire but Scooter pitched an inning last night and was shelled.
  5. I was going to go with the Woodruff comparison and say he was 1 when Bartolo became a major leaguer but I like the Arcia comparison better.
  6. In the last 7 games, we have only scored 16 runs. What is awesome is that in that span, we have only given up 15 runs.
  7. Too bad I didn't think of this sooner, but the IGT should have been called the electric boogaloo
  8. I too suspect we'll be around .500. Heh, I didn't even notice. I suppose technically the apostrophe should be on end of Brewers, no? Brewers' August Record?
  9. Let's give August a shot!! 3 St Louis (2-1) 3 @TB (1-2) 2 @Min (2-0) 2 Min (0-2) 3 Cinci (1-2) 2 Pitt (1-1) 3 @Col (2-1) 3 @SF (2-1) 3 @ LAD (1-2) 2 STL (2-0) 1 Washington (0-1) That puts me at 14-13. What are your guesses?
  10. Talk about a roller coaster month. All in all, July's record ended up being 12 and 13. We had guesses from 9 and 16 to 16 and 9 with 2 people guessing 12 and 13 correctly (MDcrew and ReverendBrewmeister). I'll get August's prediction up later today.
  11. In 24 innings the Brewers pitching staff have given up 3 runs. Even if the offense isn't going anywhere, at least things have been very close.
  12. My brief search came up with an Over/Under of 9.5 runs. I'm predicting a 7 to 5 game one way or another for the over.
  13. I wonder if there's any analysis on which shift has been better? Either bringing the middle infielder over or bringing the third baseman on the other side
  14. I'm reminded what Karma is. That 1-1 pitch doesn't even crack the top 15 controversial calls this game.
  15. At 80 pitches, he should only be out there for an inning or two more.
  16. I'm not thrilled by the choice of Blazek but I like the matchup of him facing the Nats than the Chubs.
  17. Gameday has the 2nd strike almost hitting Marte
  18. Holy roster moves, Batman! I'm hoping Bandy and get a hot bat going for us.
  19. To be fair to Freeze, with how bad these umps have been. One of those legit strikes could have been called balls.
  20. IIRC, we have had 2 walkoffs this year. We must have been tied going into the 9th
  21. [sarcasm]...and then flip him for a 3rd prospect.[/sarcasm]
  22. Davies is on pace for about 16 wins. Given his ERA, that's crazy.......but I'll take it!
