  1. woo insurance runs!! Edit: even more insurance runs way to go Ryan and Prince
  2. It took the brewers 5 players and 0 at bats to score a run in the first, but 1 player and 1 at bat to score a run in the 2nd...Nice jack Yuni
  3. thats utterly ridiculous.... Too bad Plush swung at ball four
  4. After having to switch from oral meds to insulin for my Type 1 diabetes, my first A1C was an astounding 5.8%. I never was that great with the oral meds when they were working.
  5. I don't think a single scrub hit the ball that 9th inning...what a game...what a win...good night nurse
  6. I saw this and the first thought in my head was "and there was much rejoicing in the land of BF" and pretty much everything that RoCo said I agree with. We didn't just call up another Braun but anytime we improve our team, its a good thing.
  7. If ball 1 was outside then how was ball 2 inside?
  8. To me, I honestly think this sweep and even just the 6th inning of today's (6-12-11) could definitely be a "defining" moment in the Brewers season. After taking 2 games and being down 2-0 in the 6th we strung together 4 hits culminating in a one run lead that IMO absolutely demoralized the classy cards. The Brew Crew sweep the Cards and take over first place. I don't know what the Brewers will do from here but I could see Brewer historians looking back at this series/game/inning and calling this a turning point in the season.
  9. I just got back from the game and I gotta say that the bottom of the 6th was absolutely ELECTRIC. I havn't seen the whole place charged like that since the playoffs. Myself, the people in the group and even random strangers were remarking how you could just feel that Prince bomb coming. It was truly remarkable. Hands down one the top 3 games I've ever been to.
  10. Brewers officials say they are pleasantly surprised with Betancourt's defense but disappointed by his bat. I didn't realize Yuni's D was worthy of being pleasantly surprised. I thought the Brewers got exactly what they expected with 0 range but darn good hands (most of the time)
  11. Nice Hit and Run...especially in an unlikely spot
  12. Regardless of how it happened, Counsell owned this inning
  13. and to think it easily could have been a 6-1 road trip as well
  14. somewhere Kent Hrbek is applauding Buck's tag of Morgan
  15. On my way home from work after a curve in the road, it splits from 2 lanes to 3 with the right lane splitting and the left lane doesn't change at all. The new right lane eventually becomes a right turn only so I always go from the right lane to the center lane because I want to go straight after the intersection. Because of the curve, cars can go in a straight line and float from the left lane to the now center lane even though they are technically changing lanes. It bugs me that I'll be in the right lane about to go into the newly formed center lane only to be chased out by idiotic drivers who go from the left lane to the center lane without any idea that they are changing lanes. I'm half tempted to let them hit me because it would be all their fault.
  16. Am I crazy or was "I wear sunglasses at night" playing before Coreys atbat
  17. Congrats to PrinceEatMeat, WarningTrackPower, Thablingster, and splitterpfj...17-12 is the winner
  18. Fun Fact: Last time the Brewers scored 6 or more runs away from Miller park was the 9-0 spanking of Halladay and the Phillies April 19th that is
  19. It's why he prefers to hit home runs I'd imagine he's still battling his recent bug
  20. if you told me that ZG would only give up a single run with the bases juiced and nobody out and still have a 2 run lead. I'd take that any day of the week
