  1. First of all, this post didn't age well. Second of all, how can you say they hadn't "poured it on"? They scored 2 in the first, 4 in the second, and 2 more in the third. Im pretty sure thats the definition of pouring it on.
  2. Just maddening that we were up 8-0 and now will have to burn hader. Arcia says not so fast! Hold my beer.
  3. Maybe we should just sell it to cubs fans because this team is never going to lose 3 in a row! This is the optimism thread right?
  4. Did I miss something about Nelson? Wasn't he supposed to be in AAA?
  5. I mean they can, it's just gonna be very very hard. In general, on the arms, and our blood pressures lol.
  6. I was thinking about it and Im not sure Cain was ever tagged, thus no need to signal I believe.
  7. Extrapolating that out we will clinch the division on either game 116 or 117, which is probably sometime in early August. That will be nice on the late season blood pressure.
  8. Cubs game is boring so ESPN has our game split screen with them and our sound now.
  9. That's gotta be April fools cause that's ridiculous.
  10. When burnes inevitably strikes out 27 today, can we still call it an immaculate game even with the extra pitches and some hits given up?
  11. I’m not sure if he did, but he DID give up homeruns on back to back pitches to Yelich and Braun last year in our second home game of the season! Not this guy. We had an arcenio leon in 13 and 14 in Huntsville and nashville though.
  12. I mean it's possible for a 7 pitch strike out the side without quirky rules. Pitcher a comes in gets 2 strikes but leaves hurt, pitcher b comes in and finishes the inning on 7 pitches.
  13. At least we don't have trever Rosenthal in our bullpen. He has an infinity era after 4 earned runs and no outs.
  14. The good news is that last year after rough first innings Peralta usually settled in nicely. Hopefully he just had some nerves and he can settle in for the next...180 innings
