    I've finally come to a decision on this finals matchup. I don't care if either team wins. The Knicks, while a new York team, have sucked enough that I'm ok if they get one. However, if they win I hope they win all 4 on the road.

    Anyone have any idea how the uncertainty of the next cba is going to affect signability? I don't know how much if any change is being talked about with the draft and maybe causing some highschoolers to prefer the certainty of college for the next 3 years.

    The double edged sword with a team like the Mets, is that there are the extra resources but they come with extra expectations. With the Brewers there was the ability to build up a farm and be patient with it, but I'm sure the Mets owners and fans, for the most part, just look at the farm as currency to help buy towards the now. I feel like we have found a niche in the current system and a way to maximize it to our potential. I am worried the seemingly inevitable changes on the horizon will break that niche one way or another. But the one thing that gives me hope is that we've already invested a ton into the farm up approach that we should be able to weather the changes and make the needed adjustments.

    I needed Duke to lose to Michigan to win my work bracket. Now I have extra reasons to hate duke.

    The league office can claim all they want that the replacements were fine and that call was correct, however after that call, things were wrapped up very quickly to get the regular refs back. Maybe they are hoping they can mitigate it with this plan, but I can't imagine the chaos this will cause during GameDay. Just pay them. It's worth it.

    The vcu/unc game was really good. Huge comeback from vcu. Unc led by as much as 19. I'm not sure where it ranks in all time tourny combacks, but its gotta be up there.

    It's certainly a choice to have your best hitter hitting 8th.

    Bucks playing insane defense tonight holding Mr 83 himself to just 14 points with just 4 minutes to go.

    Not taking the free dunk from the corner was certainly a choice.

    This is the only thing that makes much sense. Ultimately, we will get some data by the end of the season and if it's bad enough it might push mlb to have to fully implement. I'm sure in spring training players have a big leash on when they're allowed to challenge, but that will probably tighten up during the regular season, but some of these umpires are having some bad games from some stories I've seen.

    So I'm trying this out to see if it's worth the 100 bucks. I'm not finding an app/not sure which app to download on my TV to use, I have a vizio TV if anyone else has one and can answer. I am able to cast via brewers.com from my phone, but that would be clunky and less than ideal if I would have to do that for a whole season. Also, watching today's game vs the Padres and it seems like it's standard definition and I'm not sure if that fall under, we'll duh it's spring training or if that would be what to expect for regular season.

    Pretty upset that we got to see 1 end of the mixed doubles curling gold medal match and now it's being preempted by figure skating fluff.

    What's your definition of modern, because 15 years ago isn't ancient. But your point about them being poorly run isn't wrong.

    Had to check what our pick situation was for this year and it's a pick swap with New Orleans(owned by someone else). Since New Orleans is bad this year, if we tank, we have a shot at having a good pick and if the balls bounce our way could hypothetically be as high as #2, but would require us and them to be 1 and 2 in any order.

    Could not have hoped for a better result. Plenty of time and 1 timeout. We at least have a real shot.
