    Not sure if everyone say it but Nyjer threw up his T-Plush hand gesture and SF fans thought it was an obscene gesture. Giants players refused to talk about it after the game. Maybe they are going to hit him with a pitch today to stick up for their fans.     As my previous post shows, go take a look at his month by month splits. He has been doing well for almost 200 straight at bats not 20.

    I have posted it in another thread but I don't think Doug is going to do anything at SS. He needs to make a move at 3rd. If you take away the month of May, Yuni has done exactly what you want out of a 7th hitter, which is hit for a good average. April was .267, may was near .178, June .284, and in July he is .300.     Lately I get the feeling the only move at SS Doug might make is for someone who plays better D. Since June 1st Yuni has been hitting at .285. Thats almost 2 months at a .285 clip. His AVG for the year is up to .250. To answer the thread's question, I expect Doug will do nothing at short .... but I do think something will happen at 3rd.

    I like how the Tigers can dump a guy (Brandon Inge) who played for their organization for 11 years and just signed a 2 year $11.5 million deal but the Brewers stay the course with both McGehee and Counsell. One of which (Counsell) should have been DFA'd a while ago and McGehee should have been benched a while ago and Taylor Green brought up. I am at an utter loss as to why Doug hasn't done anything.
