How does Jesus continually swing through fastballs that catch a lot of the plate.
-
Ballsy pitch, love it.
-
Why doesn't Kratz call high heat when JJ is pitching. He gets really predictable staying low in the zone. Maybe jj is shaking him off? At 97 he could blow that by a lot of hitters.
-
Didn't see it, but I'm guessing he was hoping Travis Shaw would not follow up with the worst AB of the series by anyone. Agree, but gotta take that run there. I don't think it was even going to be close.

Why did sedar not send Cain?
-
I loathe Molina. I don't think there is a player on a Brewer rival i hate more than him.

Similar to last year, and a few years before that. You just cant expect to trot out subpar players and expect above average results over the course of the entire season. Not sure you can say they have subpar players. Yes, some are, but they also have a lot of talent. Subpar starting pitching for sure. All of us knew that was going to catch up to the team in the end.

Makes me upset to know the Brewers will be probably be losing their wildcard spot today to the Cardinals. For how awesome it was watching this team the first half, it has been equally infuriating watching them in the second half. Inconsistent offense, questionable bullpen management, head scratching trades... With that said, Go Crew, stomp the red birds today!

Wow Braun. How does that happen in the MLB.
-
Why is that 0-2 pitch even close jiggy?
-
NEVER going to happen... I know, and that its frustrating. Wishful thinking. One key trait of any successful manager in sports or business is accountability. If you don't have accountability you have nothing. Mark A, as a successful business man, should know better than anyone.

Gomez on the bases reminds me of an excited puppy that cant control itself that freaks out and starts pissing all over the place.
-
Counsel needs to drop the hammer on Gomez after this garbage. Bench him for the rest of the road trip. Guys need to know they can't continually make bonehead plays over and over without consequence.
-
Can someone remind me why Kintzler is on this roster?
-
Sure hope Kitzler doesn't sh it the bed here. Jimmy should have been out of this with a quality start, but now facing getting a tagged with 6 ER.
-
Gennett seems to fail a lot on defense. Starting to get old... still makes me laugh thinking about all the people on this board calling for Rickie head because Scooter was going to be Sooo much better with the bat and glove. Anyone else ready for the Scooter experiment to end. Low volume platoon player at best IMO.
-
I like what I am seeing from Jimmy tonight. Even though he doesn't have his best stuff tonight he Settled down nicely and is giving them a chance to win. Too bad the bats are silent.... Nothing more you can really ask for from a pitcher.
-
Gomez with the MLB equivalent of dropping your jock on a nasty crossover.
-
Was thinking the same thing. Horrible send.
-
Did anyone see Jeffress mouth "why the fudge are you playing way over there." after that dribbler up the middle by Abreu? Wonder who here was talking to. Gennett or Gomez.

I would love to see the Brewers trade Lind. This would be a great example of selling high on someone. Hopefully he can keep up his production for the next couple months to really garner a nice return. The Brewer's have had multiple opportunities to cut ties with guys at the height of their value, but have failed to do so. See Hart and McGehee, and even throw Gomez. It would be nice to see that Melvin even has the ability to properly manage a small market roster. Rays and A's do this type of thing almost every year without even thinking about it, and they are always somewhat competitive, and always have a farm system full of young difference makers coming up. At some point Melvin needs to man up and trade high on a guy, and start to retool.

Awesome to see Krush starting to right the ship! J. Rodg with his first bomb... life's good, well at least for tonight...
-
Flipped the game on quick to watch a comeback in the 9th only to see Kintzler on the moun, and middle school defense behind him. That is Thursday night bar league softball bad....
-
In Vegas and just put money on the Reds tonight. That should guarantee a Brewer win. Can't believe the Brewers are favored.
-
I hear you. These games are brutal to watch. No fun at all. The least this sorry team could do is be competitive in their loses.
