  1. These guys are idiots. First the Utley "hit" and now the Prince "swing".
  2. Better than that.
  3. Ken Rosenthal just said on Fox that if the Brewers don't make it, Ned's job is in serious jeopardy.
  4. Brewmann, are you actually gloating about the Brewers losing their wildcard spot?
  5. This Phillies team has a lot of bats and not many deadspots in the lineup.
  6. Also, this is what Brewers.com have for Sunday for the Phillis... Phillies: It's still uncertain who will start Sunday. Brett Myers pitched for the Phillies on Wednesday against the Marlins and said he would be willing to start on Sunday, if needed. If so, Myers would be pitching on three days' rest. The Phillies could also go with J.A. Happ. Happ had two outings for the Phillies in July, posting a 3.27 ERA before he was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley, where he continued a successful Minor League season before being promoted to Philadelphia this month. Kyle Kendrick hasn't been ruled out, but he has struggled recently, with his last six starts yielding a 1-4 record and 11.35 ERA. I really don't want to see Myers as I could see that being 8 IP 1 ER and 12 Ks.
  7. I would give the advantage to Sheets, Hamels. The other two matchups are coin flips in my mind, pitching wise.
  8. 2/4 in Philly would do wonders.
  9. Yes I am worried. The Astros surge means that the Brewers would have a harder time backing into the playoffs. I realize the Brewers haold their own cards but I want playoffs, anyway possible. That means, I don't care if they lose every series from here on out as long as they get in. The Astros being just one more team (with the Cards/Brewers/Phils) now means that more than likely all four teams won't struggle.
  10. That has to be a top 5 loss this season. It's time to contemplate with the computer and TV off in a dark room by myself.
  11. It's a shame that last time Ned tried to use a Shouse/Torres 9th it failed as it would have been nice tonight. Instead, bases loaded and I hope we get out with a tie game. Things change on a dime.
  12. Gone. Maybe Shouse should have faced him? Lets go Dave.
  13. Phillies lose tonight we will be 4 up in the wildcard. I love that kind of sad.
  14. At worst a three game lead in the Wildcard, jump off anytime you like.
  15. I just got one so I will let you all know. To his credit he was very prompt with everything plus he is a Brewerfan so I trust everything he is saying is kosher.
  16. (Packers and I am sure I will get called out as not being a "true fan" though I will switch)
  17. Brewers are still in the forefront and it's football season! (Yeah 2000 posts)
  18. Zombies, "This Will be Our Year." It's from the 60's I believe as I used it on the end of the year video from last year I made for the students and the student liked it.
  19. Not that I have any kids but I would be hardpressed to call someone who brings a family of 5 cheap if they don't buy food at the ballpark. I would think the fact that they are spending $100 dollars on tickets/parking in the cheapest sections would make this day expensive enough that another $50 (Soda, Burger, and Fries for each person) on food is quite extensize and not needed espcially for families on a budget. Not everyone that goes to the park can afford to go the full nine.
