    Scott Olsen isn't a slouch so I wouldn't give the game to the Cubs just yet. That said their offense really scored a lot late last night.

    Another solid game tonight. Fun game to be at but the Cardinal fans are really whiners. I had a group that were openly booing every Cardinal that didn't get a hit in that at bat, which was a lot, from the third inning on. After the game they congratulated me (like I did something) to which I replied that maybe they should stick with their team a little more but they declined saying they had Brewer Fever.

    In regards to the HR maybe he felt disrespected by Lohse who fistpumped after he struck Hall out in the previous atbat.

    Just got back from the game, absoultely stolen by the Brewers. Cards fan were in shock and I think when I was heading down the escalator I head some faint sobbing behind me. So Diamondbacks.

    He made some coin flip calls that worked out for them tonight that I wouldn't have made. More power to him for that.

    Lohse against the Crew this year.... Apr 22 @ MIL L 8-9 - 4.0 8H 4ER Apr 17 MIL L 3-5 - 7.0 5H 2ER His starts were of the back to back variety with the Crew and you'll notice both ended in a loss. Keep it up. Also, it seems a little less muggy today so maybe that's a good thing for Soup (though I don't know why, I am searching for any advantage here).

    The Brewers may be in for a long night of gettting runners on but not in. It seems like one of those nights. Then again, they have been tearing the cover off the ball later in the game on this trip so far.

    As a Brewer fan we know the frustration about blisters and how serious they can be. It still seems like such a small issue to take a pitcher out, like a thorn in a lion's paw.

    I think it comes down to people using stats and only stats to make an arguement. There seems to be an overwhelming sense that by looking at stats can tell you everything you need to know about a player on this board and some may agree with that, I do not. I guess it comes back to the Moneyball back and forth. Homer: Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that's even remotely true!

    Bad scoring in the last game of the Giants series as Parra didn't deserve any ERs. Not much of a vent but I didn't really think Parra's great day should have ended like that.

    Pitching Matchup is pretty equal here. A win in the first game would be huge towards splitting or even taking the series.
