  1. Just an eyeball look at it and I will say 14-13. Still in the thick of the wildcard race and we will make up a game or so on the Cards.
  2. I really carry little money with me when I golf ($20 for drinks). They would be better off stealing my clubs.
  3. I will give a lot of credit to Slowey but it seems the Brewers hitters are hacking up there instead of trying to make solid contact.
  4. Actually the best thing is it really doesn't matter who we root for as it means nothing on the field.
  5. LaPorta I would venture.
  6. I would love to see Parra start getting the recognition he deserves with the casual fan. He, along with the other SP, have really stepped it up and kept this season interesting.
  7. Yes, very much. I think they filmed a HR to get the crowd reaction and then added her in. Either way, they did a pretty good job and you weren't the only one fooled.
  8. Will you keep saying this if/when the Brewers get to 2 games back, or then 1 game back?? What about when they are tied for the Division lead?? Will you still believe then that the Brewers best chance to the playoffs is the Wild Card?? What about after the Crew has gone out and acquired a stud pitcher to solidify the rotation?? What about last year when the Brewers had an 8 game lead on the Cubs?? Did you then feel the Cubs's best shot at the playoffs was the WC?? At what point will you stop believing the WC is the Crew's best option for the playoffs, and stop believing the Cubs are the best team in baseball since the 60's?? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif That seems a little harsh, and the eyerolls seemed unneeded. In all honesty, I will also root for the Cubs for much of the same reason. They are the best team in the NL and more than likely are making the playoffs this year whether it's as a wildcard or a NL central champion. Every team they beat (banking on the previous statement being true: Petcota says there is a 95% chance of it) helps us in our playoff chase. I also have very little preference as to how we would get in just as long as we get in.
  9. Spiderwoman. You do know it's fake right?
  10. Stetter closing this out tonight, I feel good about that.
  11. Parra stayed out of the big inning, hopefully that is his scare for the day.
  12. I love me some egg roll. I now know one person who loves egg rolls. Two now.
  13. KC up 5-1 in the 8th.
  14. Tough game for McClung but as a small excuse for him, the zone was pretty tight. Hopefully he bounces back next start.
  15. Live and die by the longball, tonight (so far) they are living.
  16. All this proves is that the Brewers are the cause of my high blood pressure and it's not the unhuman amount of bacon comsuption that I partake in.
  17. 3-1, crazy stuff. Nice try guys.
  18. I'm afraid. I am afraid the Brewers would trade for him and he would get injured. I am also afriad the Cubs would trade for him and he would be the stud that we have seen this year. Glass half empty both ways here and I am usually not a pessimisstic guy.
  19. Out for me tonight gents. The lady's birthday beckons.
  20. So if you had to project the big 5 in their primes to players right now, who would you say?
