    Batman and Roco may need Pinchposters. Unfortunately we lost a promising young poster recently. Squarepusher DFA'd him due to his poor mechanics (using the right pointer finger to push both the "g" and "h" keys), and he was claimed by a fansite of another club (although one with less overall talent). This in the same 48-hour period that it was discovered that Toby would once again have to change his user name to accomodate the trade of Jason Belcher. Current front-runners for inclusion in the new nickname for the minor league guru are Steve Moss, Khalid Ballouli, and Tommy Hawk (sure sounds like a porn name to me). Also, if Sheets throws like this after dizzy spells, I say before his next start (also a day start, which is perfect for him at Miller Park!!) they should have him practice for those races where you spin around the bat and then run.

    new lineup for tomorrow to jumpstart the team: Pods- Cf Counsell-ss Hall-2b Liefer-rf Kiesch (assuming he hurries back)-dh Overbay- 1b Clark-lf Durrington-3b Bennett/Moeller--C but I was tempted to fit Obermueller in there somewhere. Tough decision was Davis in for Pods or Jenks, but Pods almost w/a huge double, and he did reach base.

    Is anyone else getting a sinking feeling about the 2 year extension that Scotty "earned"? Of course not. He's relatively cheap. Plus there's always the chance that he'll wind up as a 4th OF, with Hart and Krynzel taking over (not likely for either till midseason next year, probably)

    kind of amazing that for the number of K's we've had, and how bad Moeller has looked all season (save one night), he has not struck out---yet

    Let's hope Geoff finds that swing. Then we can consider dealing him midseason next year. He's got lots of time still. I'd just like to have 2 hot hitters in the lineup, but we can't find even one lukewarm hitter. Let's hope Brooks gets back fast

    only 103 pitches...if we don't get a lead here, I'd be tempted to let him try one more frame. I like his chances against Guerrero, Guillen, and Mondesi as good as anyone else

    well, the hit helped break my concerns about "what if he has a perfecto going and this game goes like 12 innings?" Cause it seemed only 115 pitches could do 12 innings

    Too bad. Vlads is one of--if not--the best players in the game. He's a personal favorite. But damn that's rough to lose el perfecto on a dribbler in the hole at SS

    You need a "real" computer Bill at least it's not an HP! Actually, I have nothing but good things to say about Macs...now that printer company, that's a different story....stick with printers!
