  1. looking at the standings above I noticed Houston's road record. U-G-L-Y. Wow, that's a crazy split. edit: It's interesting that we, Stl, Pit, and Chi all are basically the same home and away, while Hou and Cin are dramatically different. Is there some sort of conclusion that can be drawn from that? Or will those revert closer to .500 as the season goes on? What I see is that Stl is good, Pit is bad, and Cubs and Brewers are roughly .500 teams. Hou and Cin, on the other hand, are apparently not very good outside their home park. This actually seems like a fairly accurate summary of the state of things to me.
  2. I end up going back to the main page and hitting refresh, then clicking on the game thread again to get new Start and End parameters. It's roughly the same thing, but you can also just click the previous page number and then click back. But still annoying.
  3. There IS a better way! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif At least what I do, is temporarily modify my preferences to show 500-1000 posts per page. That way, there's only one page of posts and when you refresh you don't have to worry about those start/end parameters. Works like a charm for me.
  4. Yeah, tom + battlebot just never log out.
  5. *Topic has been changed* to Milwaukee 2 St.Louis 4. Battlebot is in there, so is tomwopat, but nobody else. That's just the latest topic. I was in there at the start of the game.
  6. Yep Yost does manage like Montgomery Burns. I just watched that episode yesterday.
  7. This game is also only scheduled for 1pm, so they can wait around for quite a while if they don't want to do a DH tomorrow.
  8. Freaking unbelievable game by Santos. You da man.
  9. I'm glad he's safe, but why are we stealing?
  10. The bats have come alive!! Yes! And our pitching is still awesome.
  11. Keep on keepin' on, Vampire. We need this.

  13. Getpaddled, you need to go back to the 2-0 beers. I blame you.
  14. Ugh. Not too sad I couldn't make this one. Please win tomorrow. For the children's sake.
  15. Brain, what about some sort of form/calendar system thru the main site?
  16. Can things get worse? I'm honestly not sure.
  17. Weeks with a 3-run HR (leads team in steaks now). Mmmm, steaks.
  18. In between all the "I'm going to go and stick a shotgun in my mouth" posts, I particularly enjoyed end's "I come for the avatars" and square's "It's April 19 not July 19" piece of wisdom. There's nothing wrong with saying "This loss really sucked," but to go and dive off the deepend is a little drastic. One, your expectations may need to be adjusted, and two, they've played 13 FREAKING GAMES. That is all.
  19. Another K for Billy. At least he fouled a few off.
