  1. Right, giving away outs is no big whoop. You get 27 of them, no one ever lost a game just giving away one. He's not saying that, Im sure there are examples, but there are also plenty of examples where small ball lead to a team winning. All he is saying is that one play or two plays are not the reason we are losing tonight
  2. With the way Segura has been hitting there was like a 50/50 shot he grounded into a double play so Im fine with it, but I also don't mind it as much as some here
  3. Much Better looking Garza that inning, lets get the bats going Boys
  4. At first when I saw the lineup I was quite upset but when you look at Morton's righty lefty splits it actually makes sense. I think the only one getting an off day to have an off day is Lucroy.
  5. Thornburg again? maybe an inning then well finally see Wang…..maybe
  6. That Phillies lineup looks a lot better with Utley in it
  7. and Henderson warming up, I get he needs work but name a better time to give Wang his debut.
  8. It was last year. Not sure why they wore it on Wednesday. I remember them wearing it a few other times last year including on the road
  9. no but he looks like he's afraid to make solid contact, hasn't taken a real big solid hack at anything like he used to any once in awhile, granted this is all off 2 at bats so it could be nothing
  10. agreed my goal was 3-3 going up against atlanta and boston, My goal every time through the rotation is to win two out of three when Yo Lohse and Garza and pitch and half the games Peralta and Estrada pitch. Would love a sweep today, but more importantly would love to see Braun look good at the plate
  11. Ryan Braun not rated in the top 9 right fielders, supposedly rated an 85 in the game.
  12. Hate the Gomez in the leadoff spot call by RRR... Who would you put leadoff, especially knowing RRR loves to bunt the 2nd guy, rather bunt Segura than Gomez, although I agree I hate putting a guy with 20 hr potential in the leadoff spot. But this team has no true leadoff guy or even close to it
  13. One thing I will say is everyone has been clamoring for RRR to stop looking and basing decisions off of spring training stats, I think this is a step in the right direction at least on that front
  14. The fan part of me loves Overbay making the team, even if my head says it was the wrong move but imo the difference between keeping one vs the other is very minimal
  15. any chance we see him the opening series you think?
  16. UGH...no thank you. He has been awful here in LA after getting paid. I would rather keep Rickie. The way I look at it is it would save a million or two this season and if he comes back to form we get him for 2 years otherwise we could then cut him after next year for no extra cost
  17. read something on hardball talk today how the dodgers might be looking to rid themselves of the 2 years left on Brandon League's contract, what about a Weeks for League swap if the Dodgers pay League's 2nd year of his contract
  18. Who's West? Do you mean Smith? I suspect 5 spots are pretty locked in: Henderson, Rodriguez, Kintzler, Smith and Blazek. The main competitors for the other two are Figaro, Thornburg, Wang and Duke. If he's healthy Gorzelanny is a lock too, leaving those other 4 fighting for just one spot. Just wondering but why do you think Blazek is a lock? As far as Wang goes, I definitely think if he keeps pitching the way he is the Brewers will find a way to keep him on the roster even if it means keeping 3 lefties in the pen
  19. Honestly if Reynolds hit that, that probably means a .300 obp or better. You could do much worse than that hitting 7 or 8 in our lineup
  20. Big fan of the hats, liked I'm last year and bought one and is one of the best fitting hats I have. as far as the game goes nice to see reynolds do something
  21. Record: 87-75 All Stars: Jean Segura, Ryan Braun, Kyle Lohse Biggest Surprise: Mark Reynolds Biggest Dissapointment: Tyler Thornburg Playoffs: No Place in Division: 2nd World Series: Dodgers over Rays
