  1. Maybe add in Burgos while your at it but I dont find him special at all
  2. I don't think he's asking who is untouchable, just who would be considered a "core" piece. Obviously Braun and Segura are core pieces. I see Lucroy as one, as well, though I'm not quite sure about Gomez. Not sure why OP would think Schafer, Maldonado, and Gennett are in everybody's future plans. Schafer, while he looks good and could very well end up a starter for the Brewers for several years, is still just a fourth outfielder - I wouldn't consider that a "core" player. Maldonado is a backup catcher. Gennett looks nice, I suppose, but there's nothing that special about him that would make him a core piece, either. And Francisco? What? Exactly what I'm talking about, obviously if the right deal comes along I am willing to trade anyone on the roster. However I see Braun Segura Gennett Schafer Gomez Lucroy Maldy and Peralta still on the team 3-5 years from now. anyone else on the roster I see as either moved or released. Francisco could make a decent bat bench if he can ever come around. bullpen is always changing. Bianchi possibly as a utility guy but they are a dime a dozen. Aoki possibly but it wouldnt suprise me if he was dealt. and I'm just talking guys on the major league roster. not the minors as that would obviously open up a lot
  3. Ok guys, just wondering what players on the current rosters you see as current core pieces moving forward. Braun, Lucroy, Gomez & Segura I think everyone can agree on. is there anyone else you see as a main piece moving forward. Peralta maybe or has his down year removed him from future plans? I would assume Gennett, Maldanado and Schafer are in everyone's plans. what about aoki or Francisco.
  4. I will say this, that deadspin article actually makes me quite confident in Braun. Why wouldn't Bosch try getting money from Braun to, why just Arod. Arod seems to be going thru great lengths to cover this up where as Braun doesn't
  5. I know this isn't 2013 but is it possible at the end of this season or opening day next season we see a lineup or Aoki, Segura, Braun, Morris, Lucroy, Gomez, Scooter, Francisco/Bianchi or soemthing along those lines
  6. http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/9301536/major-league-baseball-suspend-20-players-including-alex-rodriguez-ryan-braun-part-miami-investigation
  7. ESPN alerts just sent out a text saying Braun, Arod and others are about to be suspended
  8. So uh Nevermind about tonight, Ill see ya guys tomorrow night
  9. Haven't participated in one of these threads in awhile so hopefully this gets them on the winning track!
  10. wow their catcher is bad. should have thrown out two at least
  11. Don't know if this sways anything but there is this article nowhttp://www.jsonline.com/sports/brewers/ryan-brauns-account-supported-by-biogenesis-director-969pg3q-205509821.html
  12. My bad looks like im wrong. The picture Vassalo sent out confused me. looked like a 2 next to Maldanado
  13. I think it is definately fair to say we won this trade. I would almost say since the trade Segura has outperformed Grienke. But definately was the smart trade to make
  14. Congrats to him. Man no one complaining about that contract anymore haha
  15. For the most part I trust those Kintzler Henderson & Gorzelanny, Im coming back around on Ax and think Badenhop & Gonzalez are better than they have pitched so far. I actually think our bullpen winds up being pretty solid this season. No great players but an overall solid group I think. Much better than last year
  16. clearly they have a ways to go then til they catch up to our offense
  17. Ok question here. Say Burgos and some cubs prospect both were making major league debuts and the prospect happens to hit leadoff and get a hit on the first pitch. who keeps the ball?
  18. So we give Gomez a day off but not Rickie? Cause that makes sense. At this point why not start Josh Prince for a night to give him a day off.
