Kuroda/Carroll package deal?

I'm not saying trade for Kuroda solely, as that doesnt sollve any of the Brewers problems besides maybe a lefty in the pen. However, if he comes in a package with a short stop a little cheaper so the Dodgers can save $ then we should do it . -

Furcal/Carroll and kuroda would be the perfect package deal for the Brewers. CAn never have too much pitching. Narveson could take the place of Dillard and the team would be primed for a big run. Greinke, Marcum, Galllardo, Kuroda Wolf. Fun stuff. -
I wish we could email this thread or some posts to Melvin/Attanasio. Sigh.....

Pretty humorous series of events......Releiver punching bag is cost a run by offensive punching bag and the theme of the night continues with Rock pointing out that the walk scores. I found humor in that anyway!

Apparently our manager of the year here just blew through his bench and got owned while a few of us were trying to understand what Rock was talking about. We've been snuck up on by Ronny.

I agree with you guys. Rock was just talking out his (butt) again. I do think he meant that it seems like walks tend to hurt more than hits but the way he delievered that opinion as a fact was just not the right way to do it.

I understand what Bill is saying with walks scoring more than hits.......but really it's a professional broadcast I doubt he can back that up with facts or numbers. Let's go Hawk! Big inning for you!

Like it or not CAsey giving up there is like 95% of the pro athletes in any sport. It was a "ya you got me " moment. He wasnt getting back. Equate that to a quarterback just going down when he knows hes (screwed) . Casey has become apunching bag and rightfully so, but in that case I am betting PRince/Braun do the same thing.

While I would love to see him rush the mound, I don't want Mark Kotsay starting centerfield and CAroll starting left field when Braun needs a day yet here and there...so let's hope not. -
I just always thought the talent was greater in AA than AAA. As for the Green thing I bet we see him if Doug Melvin can't make a trade for an established 3b . I predict August 3-4 for him to come up.

"The package was big, not insane"............ that's what she said? But seriously, I don't see the Brewers trading Prince in the middle of this run. I also don't see Hart making a position change in the middle of the run either. Therefore, I cannot see this trade happening. -
Chris D and Nyjer would be a bit redundant. I don't think backup outfielder is something this team needs to make a trade for.

So what is the early timetable on this injury. We need Gomey as long as that means Kotsay don't play centerfield....

If Caroll can play the left side of the infield decently I am down for this trade. Doesn't have any pop but he could be our primary pinch hitter as a righty (with Kotsay as a lefty). This would leave Counsell for the 14th 15th innings or defensive replacement for Yuni or Casey. I'd be ok with this. Josh Wilson is the one being cut over Yuni i just have that feeling.
