Flip flop Morgan and Hart and this is the lineup to role with until a trade for a shortstop or Taylor Green is up. Let's go CAsey/Greinke.....your season turnaround starts TONIGHT.

Is it bad to think that statuatory rape commerical is fitting when the team plays on the road. Betancourt has to be on his last ropes......seriously. And Counsell seems like that guy thats saving up all his hits for the playoffs that may never come .

I suppose if STetter can handle it again. In the playoffs they will need 2 lefties thuogh if they make it but thats getting ahead of myself.

The problem is who goes to bring up another lefty? It would have to be Estrada with Loe serving as the long man? Going from "eigth inning guy" to "mop up guy" in 2 months.......interesting. I just think Loe has more value than long reliever but less value than eighth inning guy. SO who goes in this instance assuming no trades...

I expect they trade for Furcal in the next week to ten days and drop Josh Wilson or Betancourt (probably Wilson). Then maybe drop the other one for Taylor if Casey keeps struggling . Although I feel like you need 3 shortstops if 2 of them are Counsell/Furcal.

I have faith Braddock is gonna turn this thing around. Maybe for now let him concentrate on lefties to get his swagger back because the team definitely has the horses to get righties out. IF this team makes the playoffs they are gonna need Braddock to perform in the clutch as scary a concept that may be.

I'm fine with Betancourt hitting 8th over Lucroy. Need some professional at bats out of that spot to clear the pitcher (even if the pitcher is Gallardo). I'm sure over the course of a season this won't have a huge difference in the amount of at bats between the two if they played full time anyway .

I have never been more excited for a middle releiever to get his first action with the Brewers...............and if it happens tonight i won't get to see it livehttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif. I played the Rockies today on xbox and had a perfect 7-8-9 with Loe KROD (who i manually added) and Axford. (IN THAT ORDER RRR). Let me add in my franchise Saito had pitched 2 straight days, can't be having that so brought in Loe as my "seventh inning guy". Anyway back to things that matter......the Dodgers seriously just offered me a trade for Furcal. Weird..

I am so jacked about this trade . Francisco seems to feed off the crowd and even though i may be biased a little i KNOW the energy will be buzzing in Miller Park down the stretch. This gifts Saito/Hawkins fewer times where they pitch two days in a row and liekly NO times of three days in a row. All we need is Furcal....Furcal is all we need. (Or some competent SS)

Two things to add to this thread: 1) Check out the youtube videos of Chris Berman going insane on the air. As old as they may be.......they are priceless! I was shocked when I first seen it. 2) A local radio station is doing a contest on how many homeruns hit between Prince/Rickie total........I went with 48. Winner gets 2 full passes to Rockfest. I would love for Stetter to come up if that would mean Braddock would be used more frequently and for longer than one batter (once he gets back to being the player I think he is). This team already has limitations as to durability of guys and Stetter is not a full inning pitcher. The good news is should this team make it to October, Saito/Hawkins lack of durability goes out the window because there isn't too many games in a row so day offs happen more frequently. -
Infante would be very interesting and he could play outfield in a pinch as well. This would allow the team to cut Josh Wilson who I think has to be the first to go. (Don't feel like they will ever admit the mistake with Betancourt). At this point, with the Hardy extension, I am holding out hope for Furcal. Furcal Weeks Braun Fielder Hart Morgan 3b Lucroy

I think they need another lefty...but where to get that lefty is the question. Braddock has great stuff but man is he frustrating. Also need a guy like Estrada who can cover multiple innings. This is especially true when you know Hawkins/Saito are good for one inning and if we are lucky back to back games. Nothing more.

I think Cirillo is doing a good job so far with the expected room for improvement. What I would really like to see is for Rillo' to take DAvey Nelson's spot on the pre game and post game shows. Will that happen? Probably not. But neither will Cirllo taking the place of Rock before Rock is ready to hang em up. -
Nice move but very minor as I think Scarpetta will be back in the minors when the "second half" begins. However, this team does need a reliever and not a 6 man bench so him staying up or McClendon coming up wouldn't be out of the question.
