Got caught up in my 52 hour week of work but I feel like an idiot for not realizing that is Taylor Swift. Anyway the good news is I am taking a WOMAN to a game around my birthday in September. She wants to go to a TWins game and I really want to see Target Field. Her age: 29. Pics to follow. haha.

Expectations for the St. Louis Series
FoxyFoxes replied to jjfanec's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
At this point I cango into work tonight and not be afraid of the result in this game. Gravy big time. Get out of the series no worse for the ware 4 games up. Six games up ould be huge but I doubt it happens. If it does WONDERFUL but 2 out of 3 in St Louis is really just fine. -
What kind of stuff does Rivas and Peralta have?

That chick has TAylor Swift eyes. But I loved the comment about the CArdials. I have one more joke about CArdinals.... but it is not family appropriate. Too bad.....it is classic!

Just as it sounds. Build your Postseason Roster. I don't buy jinxes. Im curious as to the route the team would go if they make it. They need to find 1 or 2 lefties somehow yet. Greinke , Gallardo Marcum Wolf KROD Axford Saito Hawkins Loe Narveson Braddock Estrada Lineup: Hart, Morgan, Braun Fielder, Weeks, Casey, Betancourt, Lucroy Bench: Hairston, Lopez, Kotsay, Gomez, Kottaras Does Counsell make the bench? That may be the biggest question.

Expectations for the St. Louis Series
FoxyFoxes replied to jjfanec's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I'd be fine with 1-2. 2-1 or 3-0 are not out of the question with those pitching matchups. -
I still don't get why Counsell is first off the bench. When Weeks gets back he should be 3rd off the bench AT BEST.

Well there goes my Dish Network for awhile...... Game day /radio it is.

With the Reds losing again today, would it be reasonable to go LOOGY shopping from that team. Obviously we aren't getting Chapman, but I think Bray would be a near perfect fit for this team. He has yet to allow a home run this year in 35.1 innings pitched to the tune of a 2.02 ERA and 1.01 WHIP. His number of appearances (over 50) indicate to me that he has been primarilly a lefty only guy this season . He has 31 strikeouts compared to 14 walks. Most impressively is his .180 BAA. Nothing leading up to this season screams big time success but I think he couldb e a low risk medium reward type move for the Brewers who really need a lefty or 2 for that bullpen.

For all the (crap) I am getting for this thread I should get thread of the year or something if there was such a thing . http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

How will Chris Carpenter explain this to his son?

Come on Fishies....

Interesting. I'd roll with Gallardo in game 1 though I think.

As much as I like Nyjer , I think this platoon works well getting him some off games and Hairston more PT. Not everyone is Prince and can play every game. I'm fine with Nyjer getting days off keeping him fresh. I suspect we see him moved to center and JH moved to second short or third at some point in this game if RRR can.

Hart Hairston Braun Fielder McGehee Betancourt Lopez Lucroy Gallardo Just my guess
-
The Herbert quote from Family Guy enters my mind . MEg: I'm an 18 year old girl and I don't need you here. Herbert: No offense MEg but your an 18 y ear old girl and i dont need YOU here. haha.
