  1. I don’t want to get overly greedy because you obviously must win tonight, but the longer Miley can hold it together today the better that could possibly make our chances tomorrow.
  2. The good news is starting the bottom of the second inning with the top of the order taking their second at-bats off Ryu in theory should be a good way to stay hot.
  3. It seems like Yelich’s load for his swing has been a split second late for the last several games. His timing seems off.
  4. An infield hit followed by a deep blast would make me really happy here. Come on Christian, let’s go!!!!!!!!
  5. I have never really been into wearing jerseys, but I decided a few years back that if the Brewers ever made the World Series I would purchase a jersey with the World Series patch on it. Thanks to the Red Sox clinching yesterday we at least now know what the jersey patch will look like: Red Sox World Series Jersey. Here is the up close look at it: LINK (or use spoiler link below).
  6. I have a feeling they are going to get some early offense and win by a few runs tonight, but still use up a lot of good arms in the process. Pitching wise I'll guess that Miley lasts about 4-5 innings, and then they rotate through their best bullpen arms including Hader and Knebel. If they indeed do win tonight, I think tomorrow is going to be a close game throughout that feels like an anxiety filled fight to the finish.
  7. From The Athletic, ‘Something looks a little bit off’: In a postseason of paranoia, some Brewers suspect the Dodgers are stealing signs Here is an excerpt: The article is behind a paywall so I can’t post the entire thing, but here are a couple more lines from the article: ...“They use video people to get sequences,” one Brewers source said of the Dodgers. “It’s known throughout the league. MLB knows it’s an issue.” Said another: “It’s one thing if your signs suck and the runner on second base can tell, but when you have a video person trained on the signs, that’s not right.”... ...In numerous cases, the Brewers have used multiple signs despite Los Angeles having no runners on base. “That’s a dead giveaway they think something is up,” one rival executive said.... ...Brewers personnel believe that, despite their fears, the Dodgers haven’t been able to completely figure their signs out. “It’s more [that they] think [they] have them,” says one. And it’s easier to pick up on signs for some pitchers than others....

  9. Do we know for a fact that people who sold them on StubHub were penalized? StubHub is the official ticket partner of MLB.com and by default, the Brewers: LINK. If they penalized people who sold their tickets on StubHub then I think they made a huge mistake. StubHub ticket buyers, due to StubHub's team and league partnerships, are typically treated the same way as fans who purchase their tickets directly from the box office from a customer service standpoint. I know they don't like other ticketing resale sites, but I can't fathom that they would penalize StubHub customers?
  10. It's their prerogative to crack down on the reselling of tickets, but IMO you absolutely need to inform the SSHs of the consequences for reselling their tickets ahead of time. Did anyone receive prior notice that they would be penalized for reselling tickets? Seems like a good way to alienate a lot of season ticket holders. On a different note, I did not resell any of my playoff tickets, but was informed there will not be any opportunity for 10-pack ticket holders to be included in a presale. They said the best bet was to try the Wisconsin Residents sale on Monday. I completely get that 10-pack ticket holders are fairly far down on the totem pole, but I am surprised they wouldn't at least give 10-pack holders something like a two hour head start on the Wisconsin Resident sale? Seems like you could give 10-pack holders the chance to buy them at 8:00am on Monday just before the Wisconsin Residents sale begins.
  11. I am just guessing here, but my intuition is that what is left will be opened up to 20-game SSH on Saturday morning and 10-game SSH on Sunday morning. I would guess the emails for that will go out today or tomorrow. I could be completely wrong. I don’t think this will be the case. I’ve contacted my account rep multiple times (I’m sure he’s sick of me by now) to ask about WS ticket availability. He said he believed there would be a SSH presale today and then the WI presale on Monday. Then general sale at some point after that. He said there wouldn’t be a separate 10-pack presale, but I could do the WI one. This all looks to be how it is playing out. Also, I believe 20-pack holders are included in the SSH presale that is going on now. They are included in all other SSH promotions. Okay, I retract my guess. I think you are correct, looks like 10-pack holders are likely out of luck. I was surprised as a 10-pack holder how many great seats I was able to get for all of the postseason games up to this point. I have NLCS Game 7 tickets that are just a few rows behind the Brewers dugout. Looks like the trade-off is going to be no WS tickets.

  13. I think they can.
  14. The Brewers are two wins at home away from playing in the 2018 World Series. For those that plan to attend these upcoming games, which have the potential to be two of the most important games in franchise history, I am curious how animated and vocal you expect to be during them? For the couple of playoff games I have attended thus far the crowd has been lively for the big moments, but also subdued during other long stretches. This is anecdotal, but at the NLDS game I attended the crowd seemed to want to stand and cheer more often. At the NLCS game I attended it seemed like 2/3 of the crowd in my section wanted to stand and cheer often while the other 1/3 wanted those people to sit down while they watched the game. I was willing to go either way, and I don’t think you necessarily have to stand in order to cheer, but it was certainly much louder when the crowd stood for big moments. I am a little surprised the Brewers haven’t used more crowd prompts to engage the fans. They have done some, “Wave your Towel” messaging on the video board, but I don’t believe they have tried to spark much cheering beyond that. I personally could do without the rally towels, but I know many people really like them. I would rather have a crowd that is cheering on the home team at every opportunity than waving the towels, but hopefully more people are able to multitask than I am giving credit to. Anyway, a Game 6 and Game 7 of the NLCS at home doesn’t come around very often. I realize baseball isn’t a sport where spectators typically cheer as frequently as other sports, but I am curious if that will change for these last two high stakes games?
  15. I want Brent Suter back in the dugout. These guys look miserable.
  16. Wow, Granderson lost part of his front tooth on that slide. That sucks.
  17. Curtis Granderson has had some really good late swings in this series.
  18. They had homefield advantage for the other two series (i.e. playing right away). They would not have the advantage for the World Series, and thus start three days later as compared to the past two series.
  19. Within two days after the end of the season I believe. I assume Yelich already won the MVP by a large margin.
  20. I hope I end up being wrong, but it sure feels like last night’s game determined who was going to win this series.
