    4 in a ROW! +1
  2. RoseBowlMtg
21 pitches so they need to keep that going and get to their relievers early! Not too bad of a start but Damian should know that pitch!

Way to go JJ. Small ball at it's best!

What a day: Sunday at the Masters and extra innings with two TV's going. Now come on Brew Crew!
  6. RoseBowlMtg
    Way to go Ben!
  7. RoseBowlMtg
OK Brady start it off by working that pitching count. Let's get the annimated Zambrano frustrated early and work that pitch count to triple digits by the 5th! Go Crew!

    3-0 Babyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
  9. RoseBowlMtg
OK maybe my fantasy rp Mike Adams will get a call!

Right handed bats: Brady Junior Lee!] Damian It helps them all so to all those who thinks this team didn't improve know very little. Go Crew

3-0 I hope so! Come on we can get deep into their relief pitching!

2-0 baby: Now for the classic mismatch: Fri: Kerry Wood vs Chris Capuano: The nation sees it as a mismatch but Capu was on fire in spring training and Wood is dinged up. This could be the year!

Go Crew! Come on Brady start it off!

Great diving catch by Brady to get the first out!
  15. RoseBowlMtg
He was coughing right before it and look pretty lackadaisical.

We shall see endaround. It is interesting seeing him batting first and talking him up so highly. I am just happy for a local guy who plays the game so hard and the right way imo to get acculades around baseball. AZ is happy with him so let's see how often he gets on base which is #1 for a leadoff hitter and let's see how many runs he scores. Last year until a late slump Counsell was near the top in ob%. Counsell now is in his mid thirties and runs so hard every play it is fun to watch imo.

No! praise for a local boy doing well was my intention. It seems baseball people outside of Milwaukee appreciated what Craig brings more so than what many Milwaukee fans did. I like when all Wisconsin players do well.

AZ is pretty excited about how Craig Counsell improves them on defense. Aren't WI fans happy for a WFB grow up to have his employees want him? Best of luck this year Craig!

    Me bad---so sorry!

RoCo that's brutal. Keith is one of the best fast ball hitters around. There are enough bad pitchers in MLB where he will get those straight heaters. 19 HR's in 377 AB's = 9 HR's in 500 AB's in your book?????
  21. RoseBowlMtg
Do you know that Jeff Kent is the only NL 2Bman who has more HR's than Ginter. With fewer than 380 ab's is this something to build on?

Clemens should have tipped his hat to the nice applause the Brewer fans gave him but..... I played golf behind him two years ago in Fla and he didn't acknowledge any of us once or did he tip the waitress in the cart..... so let's win this game!

Nice game Pods the day after your future replacement shows his potential! 0-5 on 13 pitches with the bulk being a 5 pitch K where you never took the bat off of your shoulder. Such a clutch performer last year who didn't help nearly enough this year for this team to succeed. Hopefully next year he can get his OBP back up to last year's level to help the Brew Crew.

I just got home to see Clark's ridiculous dive followed by Moeller's horrible attempt at a tag after a great throw by Hall. Counsell creates and why can't Moeller put the ball on the ground and see if the Cards can at least make a play instead of another pop up. That is 3 things Yost must hate and would have hoped they would have learned in spring training. Come on now!

Bad math on my part but how about Craig no hits since Aug 24th then rips two in the same inning. I am so happy for the local kid!
