    Wow, that's pretty harsh about Mr. Davis. I may agree that he's not a #2, but surely he's a solid 3 or 4 (especially on a team that is NOT going to spend $8 or $9m plus for each of 4 or 5 starters). Even after giving up the 5 runs in the first, his ERA is 4.15. Not Sheets-like, but not horrible either. And he has kept us in the game in most of his starts (I don't have his splits in front of me, but believe he's been pretty solid).     Brian, wouldn't "Mr. Sensitive" be considered a good thing to some? I could see if I called someone "Mr. Insensitive" that I'd be in trouble. And please note that I have quotes around them so as not to suggest that I am calling anyone either one of those things. And I profusely apologize to the entire thread for my offensive comments. I have to figure out how to use these smiley faces too, I guess. But I can't figure out how to do so! Can I be forgiven without adding a smiley face?

    Has anyone else traded Zach Duke AND Paul Maholm in their simulation baseball league this year? Believe it or not, I am the Pittsburgh franchise and have done so. Received a lot of good prospects, but these two sure are starting to look like keepers...... GREAT!

    To summarize the thread so far - such great fans we have on here! - Before the first pitch, prediction of 2-0 loss - Can't beat a rookie pitcher - Davis - even if he pitches a no-hitter, we'll lose - Too sickening to watch - Full house to see us lay an egg - Season's over - Hart is a train wreck in RF - Great indication of how we'll play the rest of the season - Corey Hart is double play king - #2 hitter can't move a runner over - Weeks can't control his swing - Only Clark is playing baseball - Tired of Overbay One game does not a season make. Ok, so we lose tonight and are four games under .500. I'm assuming that I'm not in the minority in thinking that we've still made some pretty good strides this year and are positioned well for next year and beyond. And if saying "Mr. Sensitive" after someone tells me what's appropriate or not is worthy of a "banning", I guess I'll just have to leave everyone to their crayons and sandbox before I hear crying. GO BREW CREW!

    Really can't argue with Helms' attitude this year and the way he has hung in there, stayed ready and come through with some big hits. I don't have the stats in front of me, but he must have the best average with RISP on the team, doesn't he?

    I think he went ape-*$ last week too about the home plate umpire not asking for help on that balk (on Davis I believe). Wonder if it's the same umpire.

    Oh, yeah, it was a pretty good rant - could hear the f-bomb on the mlb.tv feed of Colorado TV. But I still don't know what got him so fired up!
