Since it has been brought up by others apparently beauty is relative. Even in HD she is not all that much to look at as far as I am concerned.

Three different responsibilities they have and had. Know your talking heads. And since you asked anybody is better than Carroll but unlike many people I do not go ga-ga over TK bobskube wrote:You know what...she is actually pretty good. I have been impressed. Now we need to get rid of Schroeder, Coshun, and Davey Nelson and we should be fine. ------------------- (You mean you want to dump 1/3 of our announcing 'team'?) lol

An important part of the previous statement about him is their opinion.

Yeah, our LR is only 12x15 " so we got a 42" Panasonic which sits in the corner of the room, otherwise I would've gone for a 46". Agreed, I do love some of those HD movie channels on DISH. And, I was not aware of the VOOM channels that came along for the ride when we upgraded to hi-def. A definite bonus for no extra charge!

That's aabout the only problem I have with them(they also seem to be no-shows during the off-season replay games the past two winters.) I got HDTV last December and have enjoyed NFL playoffs, NCAA hoops, even some NasCar, Masters, and playoff hockey in HD even though I don't even like the last three sports mentioned! BTW - What brand and size bad boy did you purchase? PS - Join me in chat over at Buckyville for the Brewer game today

Not up that early on Saturday so, do as I do, set up the ol' DVR to catch it.

I can see how they clear out the joint with a day/nite twin bill. But both of these are at night. That's pretty cheesy if you ask me. I would hope nobody comes to the second game but that wont happen. I'm gonna show my age...back when the Braves were still in Milwaukee in that era there was scheduled double dips. Now you cant even get two for one due to weather? Sad.

You might be able to deport the head of the Coke 0 department....I hear "he is from Canada"

Patrick - I am like your neighbor, DISH w. an antenna, and CBS does leave much to be desired as opposed to the other local network HD channels.

breathing, listening to internet radio, and reading these silly responses(like mine).http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif oh, and keyboarding

Apparently that is where stuff goes to upon power washing...

Yep, former Badger hoopster Mike Kelley's wife's first name is Kelly. Also, in the Milwaukee phonebook at one time: Otto Pahts

Robert Hall - for you old timers Joe Cool

I think only games after 4pm are under national blackout on Sundays, so as long as tomorrow is a day game you should be alright. Even though TBS is now showing nationally televised games on Sunday afternoons??

You will have people cold at 75, also. Unbelievable.

Did say anything about the blasted panels, no. All I was talking about was THE ROOF, people! RIF. EDIT: As of 12:20CT, it was 70.5 degress, winds out of the WSW at a whopping 6mph(which is next to calm)
  17. 2hoophead
I checked at 10:20 and Milwaukee's temp was 68. I've heard that the roof has never been open for an April game(Rockhead). I believe that streak should end today. We used to be a hardy bunch of fans but have been softened since Miller Park has opened. I did not see a poll here so give me your take on this subject.

I'll show my age. In one of the last year that Warren Spahn pitched for the Milwaukee Braves(1963 or 64), I was just old enough to go to games without my parents, well, it was either Spahnie or another southpaw, Denny LeMaster pitching and when a lefty hitter came up the manager (Birdie Tebbets?) move the pitcher to FIRST BASE and brought in a RH pitcher. After that batter it was a lefty coming up so the LH pitcher returned to the slab.
  20. 2hoophead
    ...he's also so old.
  21. 2hoophead
I also checked out WGN and the logo said it was HD but it was not passed along via DISH in HD. Just a reminder, though, the home opener tomorrow is in glorious HD. And, as I am new to it I have noticed, by watching the Sunday night game, that night baseball in high definition is tats.

Is it sacriligious(SP?) to say Uecker is losing it?? Looking for a retraction, but Uecker is starting to lose it. Stated that the Brewers play again at the end of the month in Chicago and "that is it". WRONG! They play a three game series in the middle of September.
  23. 2hoophead
...you mean to say your parents never told you??
  24. 2hoophead
...my guess it is Trenni, then.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
