  1. We need to lose this game otherwise the problems (zero hitting, poor managing) will just keep getting ignored.
  2. Don't forget CoCo - only 5 save chances, but he's converted them all.
  3. Can't wait to hear Yost after the game: "I told you idiots in the media that we were gonna come around... nothing is wrong... blah blah blah". I kind of wanted them to lose a few more so some changes could be made. Now everyone will "reset" and it will take another 3-4 losses for things to heat up again.
  4. I'm done with this game. Between the terrbile umpiring and lack of hitting, it's not fun to watch.
  5. Awful decision to send Prince there. He's not fast, Fukudome has a good arm, and having him out at the plate gives all the momentum back to the Cubs.

  7. Club level is well worth the cost IMO. So many advantages - maybe for one game they don't matter too much, but over the course of the season if you have any kind of ticket package or go to a lot of games they are really nice. Like others have said, enclosed concourse with AC (perfect for hot days), in-seat service, food items not available elsewhere in the park (Sunday omelettes, etc...), wider seats, padded seats, much more leg-room, around 10 seats per row (less having to get up every time someone needs to leave), usually only 8 rows per section so every seat has a great view close to the action. It just feels more roomy compared to the other levels with 20-25 rows with sometimes around 30 seats per row.

  9. I thought Letterman's question about coming back if he could have a reduced workload during camp was very interesting, and something that I believe Favre actually would really consider. Just like his comments about coming back if Rodgers gets hurt - he wants to play, but doesn't want to deal with the grind of camp and so he avoids giving direct answers to some questions. But of course TT probably doesn't want him back, so he would never allow that to happen.
  10. I believe it was open in the afternoon and they closed it for whatever reason. Gametime temps show on the scoreboard tonight were 68/71 - don't know which was inside and which was outside. It would be open tomorrow afternoon, but there is a small chance of rain, so you know what that means...
  11. I sat in the club level right behind home plate tonight and briefly chatted with the FSN cameraman (who does the main shots when a ball is hit) - he said he'd heard about the awful production and just said there wasn't much he could do about it if the producer doesn't choose the right shots. I think part of the problem is that during any lull in play, his job appeared to be finding hot girls in the crowd for the boys in the truck to look at, so they might not be concentrating much on the game, lol.
  12. Looks like the roof is finally open as well.
  13. Nope. Sorry. That thing bounced way too far in front of Prince for that to be his fault. 100% Weeks, as usual.
  14. Sheets is such a tease, lol. Great start and then this. If he goes somewhere else in the offseason, I won't mind too much.
  15. I don't think the boos will be bad at all. The fact that these will be weeknight games in April should keep away some of the clueless casual fans as well. I bought tickets specifically because he was coming back.
  16. Considering how CoCo pitched when he went back to Texas and the hostile crowd there last year, I'd say give him the same treatment here and hope his pitching is equally bad. And as for Jenkins, I also got tickets to the first 2 Philly games to see him. Definitely no booing from me and anyone who does obviously knows nothing about the game and hopefully the cheers will drown them out.
  17. Last year on 3 or 4 bobblehead games I also saw the workers opening them up and putting them aside. So it definitely is happening.
  18. I thought it was awful that as of 11am the general parking lots were closed even if you had pre-purchased the $8 passes like they had suggested. I took the shuttle from SFP and several people on my bus said they ended up paying twice, the $8 pass they couldn't use and the $5 to park at SFP. Not too many drunks where I was in the club level, but that's usually the case in those seats (which is why I like them).
  19. Took 8+ innings for either team to score on Monday and one pitch in today's game, lol.
  20. I say just bring back Kevin O'Neill - he's going to be available: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=3324436 :p
  21. Why would Crean take that job? MU should call up Pearl and get him back to Milwaukee.
  22. and 99% of the baseball universe says "told you so" about gagne.
  23. Fielder has less than 35 HRs Brewers finish at least 15 games out Attendance plummets later in the year as the bandwagon jumpers stop coming to the games I hope I'm wrong, but I really think last year was our best chance. All the stars were aligned.
  24. No, the "free" opening day tickets that came with the 9-pack should be included in your 9-pack mailing. Some of us were able to order additional individual tickets (including Opening Day) before they went on sale to the public, and those came separate.
  25. I received my Bucks season ticket renewal form in the mail today (great timing after that debacle last night). Hire Simmons as GM and I'll write the check the next minute. If they go with Babcock or anyone with a prior relationship with the team, nothing is going to change (as if it would anyway with Kohl still calling the shots).
