  1. nice win. can't wait to pick up a few of those jerseys when they do the auction in a few weeks.
  2. Exactly. I think at this point we just go with the guys we have. Yeah, we probably won't make the playoffs, but realistically we're not going to be making the playoffs every year. Most of the bandwagon fans were spoiled by last year and think it's always going to be like that. Come back strong next year and make another run, and we keep our young guys to either replace traded guys or to use in a better deal next season.
  3. I expect a team with a similar level of talent as this year. A team that barring major injuries should compete for a playoff spot. And that's without any major deals being made.
  4. Seems like Yo has hit a wall of some sort this year. Was hoping the extra days off would help him.
  5. Time for all the Brewers fans at the game to annoy the Cincy fans with the "why don't you guys have a roof?" questions, lol.
  6. Like you said, you could make the same point with any team by taking away the games against the team they play the best against. With the Brewers, it just so happens to be the same opponent year after year. Find the team they do the worst against, and their record against everyone else will look very impressive, so it works both ways.
  7. 31 pitches. although lots of those were good pitches fouled off. but the way we've been hitting, no runs allowed is the important part i guess.
  8. This team will not make the playoffs with or without RH. The hitting is way too spotty. Don't make the move, Doug. Don't let the bandwagon "fans" influence you. The future is bright for this team, no need to ruin it.
  9. I just hope the new deal they signed with FSWi is compensating them enough for these high ratings.
  10. nice JJ & looper. keep the line moving (god i hate that phrase, lol)
  11. I think HFA should be determined by the cumulative league records in interleague play. So for example if the AL "wins" interleague play with a 120-98 record during the season, they get HFA. Those games "count".
  12. Still was a nice All-Star week for the Brewers. Escobar and Lawrie did well in the Futures Game, Prince winning the derby and having the RBI double, and Braun not embarassing himself. If by some miracle we make it to the WS, not having HFA will be the last thing on my mind, lol.
  13. Booo. Braun gets taken out. I bet Pujols gets a 4th AB to try to get a hit.
  14. UNTUCKEM PRINCE! How dare he disrespect all those baseballs in the holy city of St. Louis?
  15. I believe they showed him today on the broadcast in the last couple innings.
  16. Yes it will, right up until the first loss/error/awful AB after the break, then it's right back to business as usual on here :p
  17. best 3B in the league, 3rd best 3B on the team, they're roughly the same. i agree, billy.
  18. ugh the picture quality (and color) for these WMLW games is just awful
  19. Bingo. He could be hitting .600 during that time and we'd still have lost all those games.
  20. Braun has looked lost the last couple of weeks. Seems like he's trying to hit everything to the opposite field and it isn't working. Prediction: Hall wins the game
