  1. Doesn't look good for a quality start for Cappy, he can't seem to get a quick inning today.
  2. Cappy needs a <= 10 pitch inning here.
  3. Brady's making it very tough to want to trade him right now. I can't believe his OBP is almost .390.
  4. Cappy ended up throwing 21 pitches in the second, 41 thru 2.
  5. Bill Hall, enough said. He may be passing Carlos in HRs soon.
  6. Scrappy veteran day at the park today for the Crew?
  7. 9 pitch walk for Clark, shades of 2005.
  8. Freddy Sanchez http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif he is Dirty.
  9. I didn't think the game was on tv, but here it says it is.
  10. MLB.com reports the game is on FSN North also, looks like I may have to 'get ill' this afternoon http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  11. And don't even say Helling , there is a reason his ear is just under 5. Have you seen Bush's era?
  12. Bush was the best option here. I FELT safer with him out there than anyone we had. Smart Move , Bad Pitching. If Bush goes 1-2-3 no one says anything. But Bush blew it. I felt ill the moment I saw him in the bullpen. I would have felt better with Helling, but maybe he is hurt again. It probably didn't matter since the Crew was bent on scoring only one (1) run today anyway. BTW, has anyone else in MLB been picked off of second by the catcher this year?
  13. Yost deserves to lose this game. In fact, the whole team - with the exception of Sheets, Fielder, and Gwynn - deserves to lose this game. For the second time in a week, TROTTING BUSH OUT THERE FOR ONE INNING OF RELIEF IS @#%$!!! I apologize for my politically incorrectness, but come on. Edit: I can't believe that gets filtered.
  14. Bush stinks http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  15. Tonight is an ideal time for Jenkins to produce in the three spot. This is the same lineup Yost went with when I saw them in AZ, and they got smacked. GO BEN!!
  16. Jenkins generally carries around a .730 OPS vs lefties, the fact he has struggled a bit more this year is irrelevant irrelevant (adj) : having no bearing on or connection with the subject at issue The fact that Jenkins is .133, .241, .200 for a whopping .441 OPS vs. lefties this year is very relevant to the Brewers THIS year and RIGHT NOW. Jenkins and Yost were being booed big time in the 7th (maybe more for Yost). He should have been pinch hit for. $8 million for his numbers this year overall is a joke. I am not a Jenkins hater, but I am a realistic Brewers fan, and believe he is underachieving. Too high of a leg kick at the plate, pooooor swings, and tooooo many K's with very little power should put anyone on the bench, whether they make $8 mil or not.
  17. Darron says Jenks hitting against lefties is challenging for Yost. Why is it challenging? It seems like a no brainer to all in this post.
  18. Alright Jenks, Prince showed you how to do it.
  19. That is some really, really nice hitting by Richie.
  20. I like to beat a dead horse, so Jenkins in the 7 hole will produce an 0-4 with 2 Ks and a DP. Hope I am wrong, but I doubt it.
  21. So is Carlos mailing it in waiting for his trade or what? I don't think Melvin's phone is ringing all that much.
  22. I wouldn't mind seeing Jenkins coming off the bench for the rest of the year. Too bad he is getting paid almost $8 mil this year for his uber crappy numbers.
