Elmer? Who knew. Yost did, that's who. What a genius!!

Zambrano seems to be laboring. I am stuck listening to Uke on mlb audio, but it seems like he is throwing a ton of pitches in the dirt. Also, his pitch count is getting up there.

HERE WE GO BREWERS, HERE WE GO!

The top of teh order has killed Vargas tonight. I don't think he could have faced them again without more damage. Very true, and then TGJ makes the move pay off!!

    Pinch hitter after 68 pitches?
  6. sheethead
Zambrano almost to the 5 run lead he likes to blow.

Unfortunately, that is the Gabe Gross I am starting to expect.

First good at bat for the Crew comes from Estrada, thats the template.
  9. sheethead
27 pitches in the first inning for Vargas, ehh.

Ramirez let CV off the hook on that 3-0 pitch. C'mon, limit the damage!!

I predict a win, but from now on when I see Aquino on the mound, I look away.

    Thank You!!

Aquino + Yost = BAD NIGHTS SLEEP. Kudos to Prince and gang for making the game interesting at the end, the excitement was still there with those left in the stands. How many more outings would you give Aquino? He has already had one more than I would have given him, but then again I have some pretty snap judgement.

Can't wait to get to the game tonight, any thoughts on the crowd reaction for El Caballo? I am putting my money on overwhelming boos. I will soak it in, no booing, no cheering, just hoping Sheets K's him at least once and keeps him in the yard. I am more worried about Berkman tonight, he loves hitting at Miller Park and off Ben Sheets.

Miller lite this year so far. Not much pop left there.

Makes my day at work listening to Bob and Jim so enjoyable when the Crew hits like this.

Brewers win + Cubs loss + Reds loss = good night sleep. And hopefully when i am sleeping, the Cards can lose as well.

finally graffy gets a hit, and ends up taking the easy save away from cordero.
  19. sheethead
    Aquino must be warming up.

Catcher batting in a catcher, supurb!!
  21. sheethead
10 Ks for Vargas, very nice. Still, I have a feeling we need a couple more runs.
  22. sheethead
LOL!! I read it over and over.

blanket definitive? What does that mean? Do you really think Aquino will be with the club for that much longer. Look at his outings, he has had only one good one (@ fla). I understand it sometimes takes people longer to see the inevitable, but Aquino is no diamond in the rough, just a righty version of DeLaRosa with less of a fastball.
  24. sheethead
This is non-sense. He gave up 2 runs and K'ed 10 over what, 7 innings? AND, ball four of that at bat was very close to the strike zone, NOT 7 feet off the plate.
  25. sheethead
Very true, and hopefully the Brewers win the games necessary to make the postseason run.
