    How good will this lineup be with Braun and Rickie back to fill Counsell and Graff. It will be a beautiful thing. It will be a glorious, vicorious day.     I feel horrible for the Cards and their baseball family, and as one of my most hated teams, I can't believe I just typed that. I have experienced the loss of a work-family member and it is not easy to just swallow and keep going, but that is what we did. I think ESPN will have the class to remember JH at the begining of the telecast, and then the professionalism to do the baseball game the way it is always done. I also hope Soup wins this one for Hancock.

    Melvin/Yost should swallow their pride and admit to Capellan they made the wrong decision out of spring training. After they make peace, politely tell him that he will make so much more money in this league if he would just try a little harder. Spurling now makes me just as angry as Aquino did, just without the two losses to go with it.

    "Big Ben" is very unfitting, and it makes me angry when i hear it too. "Sheeter" is my favorite as in, "the Sheeter is clean through 7." Bad weather baseball makes me very angry, put a roof on it Chicago, your weather sux in April, sometimes May, September, and God forbid October. Minnesota building an open air ballpark is just starting to make me angry, but will never fully anger me because interleague doesn't start until late May.

    Being stuck in Louisville this week, ended up scoring some free tickets to the Bats (Reds AAA) game yesterday. Seeing Bad Chad Moeller (and he was in true form) hitting in the 8 spot at AAA made clearer the realization of how much better a team the Brewers are this year versus last. I like Estrada batting 5th, he historically doesn't K all that much, however 11 in 15 games this year is a little high.

    OPS Leaders (40AB) Geoff Jenkins 1.007 Kevin Mench .939 Menchkins is one of the best stories so far this year. I hope it keeps on keepin on.

I thought Zambrano said we don't make them pay for their mistake pitches. What a loudmouth idiot. Kudos to Zambrano for being a Cub, I wouldn't want it any other way.

    I don't think Cubs fans will ever respect the Brewers, they will just hate on their team more and more until they stop liking baseball for the year.

    Braun's stats are sick, plus only one (1) error. That is less than Tounsel Couffinino. He needs to be a part of this season at some point. Maybe Melvin is saving him as our secret weapon for when the slip-up occurs. Its tough with Tounsel on the roster, too bad it wasnt just Craiger (for his clutchiness and post season prowess). Not sure how Tony fits into the mix this year. Edit add: Cubs fans posted over 1,875 times on northsidebaseball.com last night, and the majority of the ones I read were arguing about a curse. It was actually quite commical to read, especially the Cubs Hitting 101 (lol) posts.
