  1. I'm officially on the Woodruff bandwagon after watching all his starts this year.
  2. Counsell said Milone needs to start and may be in rotation at AAA. Who's getting bumped from the rotation? Can't wait to see those box scores...put him at AA so he can build up his confidence and dominate then trade him.
  3. Hader has been walking quite a few guys, but I think he has been working on his off speed stuff. Stearns made comments about this. Let's not forget, weather plays an important factor in the first few months at Colorado and various other places. I hear the commentators complaining about how cold it is and they are in the booth.
  4. Susac really struggling to open the season...ops .280.
  5. It will be interesting to see what happens when Guerra comes back.
  6. Scahill has been very good at AAA and throws strikes, glad to see him get the call.
  7. I watched numerous outing from Milone last year with Twins and 3 games in spring training. He shouldn't have made the team. I am hoping the Cards, Cubs, Pirates or Reds pick him up.
  8. There will probably be a couple more bullpen waiver wire pickups before this season is done.
  9. There is also a lot of retired pitchers who have a career era under 4.14, doesn't mean we go out and try to revive their careers.
  10. I'm not going to say I was right about Milone, but...
  11. Scahill said he thought he pitched well enough to win a spot.
  12. The brewers organization loves to give veteran pitchers a million bucks, collect service time and create no value. They could of had 2 or 3 guys on roster that were better and make league minimum. And if they actually performed, could have created some value.
  13. Milone was bad before he got signed. He had a horrible spring and to top it off used his past wonderful pitching performances to get a bullpen job. Me, along with 95% of the people on this board actually thought he was horrible. This just confirmed it. Now we are going to stick him at AAA or AA and screw up those teams??? I don't get it. Letting Milone work out his problems at the lower levels must make sense to Stearns.
  14. It will never stop but if they start giving lifetime bans, I would suspect the numbers to decrease. I don't think guys are even tested in the Winter Leagues, they should have year round testing.
  15. That's probably true. He could always sell off a couple of his exotic cars.
  16. I'd rather just wait until Milone's arm figuratively falls off in that situation, but I would guess Marinez having not pitched in 4 days could probably go 3 innings. Kind of like Capuano last year...
  17. The irony was you falling off your high horse. Garza will get $180,000 annual pension.
  18. It wouldn't surprise me if they let Garza get his 10 years of service time in and then just dump him.
  19. Was at the AAA and Rivera continues to make great defensive plays and has hit a bit as of late. He's absolutely better defensively than villar.
  20. Getlz has been pretty good in his first 6 innings...pretty much unhittable with 9 ks.
  21. Archer's flight to Memphis was a short one.
  22. Scahill should of got the call.
  23. No word on if he's starting or relieving?
  24. Playing a new position does takes time to learn. I see another problem when learning the new position on the infield. The Brewers shift so much, it puts guys all over the place. Then when balls are hit to the outfield and the ball comes back in guys are out of position. I saw it happen last year and its going to continue.
