  1. .. and that would have fixed our bullpen problems? Knebel has been great. We needed to replace about 5 guys... not 1. Who knows but Holland would of been closing and Knebel would of been 8th inning guy. Wonder what Knebel is going to get next year in arbitration? Closers with high save numbers get more money than set up guys...Betances was a little upset with his 3 million dollar ruling as a setup guy.
  2. I've watch Gray a lot and am glad they didn't go after him hard.

  4. Holland signed for 6 million with an option in 2018. We spent more than that on Feliz and Milone.
  5. he hasn't even thrown a pitch yet for Milwaukee. please save your negativity for a week from now Actually we don't know yet f he's going to be in Milwaukee or AAA.
  6. How many millions have been spent on relievers only to be released or hurt and still get paid? It really is comical. Could of paid a top tier reliever for all they spent.
  7. Brewers grasping at straws now...I guess if he pitches to a 5 era, he will fit right in. Typical Stearns pitching move, looking for a diamond but ends up being a lump of coal.
  8. Also Tristan Archer.
  9. Swarzak just faced the Cubs a couple days back.
  10. and he could get hurt and never play again with 5 million in his pocket
  11. Probably getting tired. I'd bet his innings limit is not all that far off. They should limit his innings and throw him in the Arizona Fall League.
  12. It's been 3 weeks since he made a start....he's not stretched out.
  13. Burnes only went 2 innings...
  14. Garza is going to get the option money and they won't be able to move him, thus blocking a young talent.
  15. Any idea how much it is?
  16. So is Axford...just DFA'd by A's
  17. Stearns loves Peralta. Counsell loves Peralta. Arnold loves Peralta. Funny how Feliz had a shorter leash than Peralta but actually pitched better than Peralta...not much better but better.
  18. Huh? The Dodgers traded Jose De Leon to get Logan Forsythe to be their starting 2B this past offseason. Dodgers have a team option on Forsythe for 2018. Not sure they will pick up his option with Calhoun raking at AAA. Forsythe can play multiple positions though.
  19. Calhoun isn't going anywhere especially with Utley in his last year.
  20. Agree, Thames has no range at all, or leaping ability. Like the guy, but he's a DH Thames and Aguilar are below average defenders. If you're going to go for a ball then go for it and lay out to knock it down.
  21. Sometimes I just don't understand the use of pitchers at the minor levels. Typically there is a pitch limit for an individual inning, such as when Woodruff threw thirty something in 2/3rds of an inning and got pulled. Yesterday Matt Ramsey closed with a big lead in the AAA night game, throwing 29 pitches. Today they put threw him again in a day game and didn't get thru an inning. I would be concerned about getting injured if I was a pitcher. Needless to say I think it's wrong, especially with 10 guys in the AAA Pen.
