  1. I think he could be that multi inning swing guy that ends up with 110 innings and makes an occasional 4 inning start to give you a 3.75 era.
  2. It's what are you doing for me now, not what you have graduated. We've got a few nice pitchers that could slot into that 3-5 slots, no TOR , no real corner infield guys that could help this year and a few C that hopefully will pan out in 2-3 years. It's not a great system at the moment.
  3. If they want include a top 10 pick ie Seigler or Schmidt in order to take on the 17 mil , I'd be open to that
  4. 1st can be filled by whats on the market for a few Mil. 3rd is probably another trade to fill that hole
  5. Astros: Aaron Sanchez could be the next multi inning guy Cubs: Danny Hultzen Same Kevin Pillar I'd rather have him than gamel
  6. We had the same holes last year and didn't have them filled on Dec 2nd last year either
  7. What about a trade with BALT for Trey Mancini? He's hitting arb years and they are years away from competing again.
  8. I would bet it's someone like Austin Romine who is brought in
  9. I'd like him more at 1B than at C. he's awful at catching
  10. The White Sox announced that they’ve agreed to a three-year, $50MM contract with first baseman Jose Abreu. The 32-year-old slugger had previously accepted a one-year, $17.8MM qualifying offer, effectively making this a two-year, $32.2MM extension. Under the new contract, Abreu will receive a $5MM signing bonus and an $11MM salary in 2020 before being paid $16MM in 2021 and $18MM in 2022. Four million dollars of that 2022 salary will be deferred, according to the team. Yikes!
  11. You are correct. MLBtraderumors had him as a non tender candidate
  12. Buy low candidate Greg Bird. Yes I know hes been hurt/bad the last couple of years but he's only 26 and we could get him in at the vet min and see what he does.
  13. I could see him moving to the AL and DHing for a year or 2/ 5th OF. Someone like the twins or Seattle
  14. Anderson has looked looked good in the few starts he has had. Chacin has not impressed me this year, I could see them swapping starts.
  15. Isn't Moose's deal an option(mutual/player?) year next year? If Shaw starts raking again, he can play 3rd next year.
  16. Ed Sedar caused the 18 inning game the other day. He stopped I forgot who at 3rd which would have given us another run and we ended up not driving anyone else in until the 18th.
  17. I would guess they would bring up Erceg first to play 3rd and leave Moose at 2nd
  18. We have plenty of 1B to fill that spot. It would have to be a Moose/Shaw long term injury.
  19. Last 30 days/26 games for the Big O .262 .319 .452 .771 This I can live with

  21. This would be like us sign Hernan Perez to a 5 year deal
  22. With all the extensions and the 2 big FA getting $300M+ the players aren't going to have much of leg to stand on for a strike. MLB is starting to pay younger guys who are performing and Kinbrel got caught in the transition. He zigged when e should have zagged, it's not the owners fault.
  23. I see SD putting a decent season together. I think AZ and the Giants are a mess and I'm not sure what to make of the rockies. I think they end up about 86 wins. We'd all love to see the cubs fall off a cliff and not even be close to the payoffs but I think they give us a run if darvish can figure out how to get past the 2nd inning.
  24. Watching on my phone from work
