Timing works out well with Turang moving on or even getting traded if it makes sense. Pena basically has to repeat this year due to his health. But no, I doubt any GM is going to part with the potential ace(s) it would take pull Made from the Brewers and I dont see any GM willing to part with a prospect like Made which could be a career ender for some.

i think it would be selling low on Frelick and certainly not maxing on Mitchell. Seems he could easily turn in some Bauers seasons in his future. But maybe teams will be able to see the trajectory and offer a fair price in exchange for pitching

They showed with Durbin and Collins that they are willing young starters for pitching and to open up room for the upcoming talent. They can be strategic about this in the offseason, rather than wait until someone is forcing the issue in AAA during the season

definitely. the prospect value for him is still worth something to the team. former first rounder who was in the running for a batting title and excellent fielder. Slowed by injury. He has value they will squeeze something out of, whether by trade or as the 4th next year, then flip when Adamczweski or Payne are ready.

the drop since the ASB for Harrison has been pretty shocking. The job is probably his to lose, but he is losing it quickly

yeah im not feeling a QO on Bauers. He's been really valuable for the Brewers this year, but he is basically an unusually fast DH that doesnt field any position particularly well. Some team will likely give him a good contract, but the Brewers arent going to commit 15% of their payroll to him. He's platooning with Vaughn at 1B and the Brewers have Yelich at DH. They already need to find room for Fischer, Burke, and Adams. His value is marginal to next year's team. Likely they throw that $20M at a pitcher or to extend someone in the system.

dont want to stress anyone out but the brewers will have a tough decision this offseason on outfielders. Chourio is probably face of the franchise for a long time. Lara, Mitchell, and Frelick are highly regarded, but probably shouldnt keep 4 solid OF and the bench player will probably lose value. More importantly, Adamczewski moves up to AAA and Payne isn't too far behind him. If either gets hot in AAA, nowhere to put him. Brewers are going to want more pitching. This is what made Adamczewski, Frias, and Ragsdale painful to put on the block but expendable. Sell at fair price for Mitchell? Sell low on Frelick? Does Adamczewski's glove play?

We really need May. I think his "struggles" have been kind of quirky for the most part. But right now 3-5 is looking a bit shakier than you'd like for playoffs and May is the best bet to solidify the rotation.

While Contreras is mediocre with his challenges, it's more of a momentum thing for him. If the pitcher is struggling, he is trying everything to will him into strikes and so he is more apt to challenge something close to plate.

You guys are being too hard on Counsell. He was playing 4D chess out there, 10 steps ahead of the rest of us. I dont think even Chourio knew the Brewers were going to win but Counsell was all over it before he even stepped up to bat in the 9th

Harrison has stated hat his arm tends to do this late in season. Not saying that means it's justified but it's not new to the brewers. He may not have the build to go this deep at this high effort at this age.
