    It was really funny watching the post game show, and seeing John Kruk almost have a brain aneurysm he was so upset about the loss.

    I've seen some reports saying its a possible murder suicide, and others saying its a double homicide. I really hope this doesn't turn out to be a murder suicide. I've always thought so highly of Air McNair.

    Personally I don't understand what the big deal about Escobar is. Sure he plays great "D", but offensively he leaves much to be desired. He has a career minor league OPS of .706 and has never OPS'd over .800. I worry that he'll be nothing but a light hitting good defense SS. I'd much rather hold onto Hardy and trade Escobar, although I understand financially that could be difficult.

    I keep coming online expecting a ten page thread announcing we traded for Peavy. After this past series vs. Colorado I really need something to get me excited about baseball again! C'mon Doug, get it done!

    As far as all this "disrespect for the game" goes, I just really don't care. I feel that people showing emotion is good for rivalries and is only natural for competitors. It just annoys me when people, such as the Cardinals announcers, need to make such a big deal about it. I love it when Braun hits a big HR and poses a little, or shows emotion. I also love to hate players from different teams who do the same thing back to the Brewers. What's the fun of a good rivalry if players aren't getting under the skin of players/fans of the other team!?

    Man its frustrating to tie up the game and have Parra immediately put the Cardinals right back on top. Especially when its not Pujols that's doing it, its a bunch of nobodies.

    I think its about time for a Braun HR.

    Watching the Brewers was so much more fun a week or so ago when everything was clicking and it felt that we could come back from any deficit. Now it feels like this two run lead is insurmountable. Lets get it going offense!

    I wonder how big of an effect Weeks going down has had on this team. If I'm not mistaken we're 4-5 since Weeks went on the DL and we haven't looked like the same team.

    That could have been a lot worse. That strikeout to Pujols was huge there. We were lucky to get out of the inning only giving up the one run.
