Okay Gonzalez dogging it to first base didn't get enough outrage here. Completely unacceptable. I can understand that all players dog it in a fly ball situation, or a sharp hit ball to the short stop with nobody on, but when there's a runner at second you never know if he's going to break toward third... Maybe he gets into a rundown... But slamming the bat down and crying on your way to first like that? Completely lost respect for him.

Weeks had a great pick up there. That was a dangerous play. Segura did the right thing and was able to clear the base, but still had to deal with the base runner. That's pretty unfair and he wasn't penalized for it. Hope he gets a bad called strike three later in the game.

This is why going to third on a fly ball to left with 1 out is a bad idea.

No!?! Why give away a solid 3 so we can start Estrada and Peralta and probably Parra or McClung if those 5 guys miss a single game? Do you really think Randy Wolf is a solid 3? Yikes. He started every game last year (33 G) and put up a 3.69 ERA. That's pretty solid for a 3. But he's not even the 3rd best pitcher numbers-wise. Marcum is. When do you dump him for some prospects? This year? Who do you trust to replace him?
