Nasty strikeout, but blah score some runs for once.
-
Good work, green laser pointer guy.
-
Why is every Brewers Cardinals game the weirdest game ever?
-
Strikeout. Great. Next AB he'll complain that there's no longer a green light in his eye.
-
I don't know what was more pathetic, Matt Holliday trotting around the bases or Craig five-hopping the throw from right field. Amazing.
-
Wow Matt Holliday is slow.
-
It's the baserunning style the manager wants. He wants runners to be thrown out at home? I'm sure he'd rather have the 3rd base coach make sane judgment calls.
-
Ed Sedar is the Shawn Slocum of the Brewers. Can't really understand how he is still a coach with year after year of pathetic gaffes.

Logan Morrison to SEA, Carter Capps to MIA

Or Yuni can slot into the position quite nicely. That's impossible, Kansas City has custody of him on even years. -
Link? The only thing I read was Haudricourt citing a "source" that said $8 million max with incentives, not $8 million base. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/235440371.html Not sure I can believe a tweet throwing out numbers from a "source" - I'm going to assume the M's were above the Brewers on base salary like Melvin said. I don't think Hart would reject $8.2 mil guaranteed coming off a surgery. Despite his poor hair/facial hair choices, he's not stupid.

No. Yuni plays for the Royals in even years.

Man I just hope that fan goes home disappointed from a loss and gets a DUI on the way back to his hotel after wrecking his car into a ditch. -

This game is virtually unwatchable on TV with the drunk Pirates fan yelling in the background. Have the game on mute since the 6th inning. Edit: Language - JJK -
Good win! Was fuming after that 5th inning, but I'm glad they had some clutch hitting down the stretch. Bullpen was great, just one bad pitch by Wooten that hit the foul pole. Although the defense didn't back Lohse up, he left the ball up and had a lot of line-drive outs. This wasn't his best start. ARam had a great game.
-
More pathetic and disgusting this inning is a veteran pitcher totally collapsing after that error.
-
I know this team has virtually no talent offensively, but good god can we stop making it harder on ourselves ruining into so many outs
-
Swear to god I'm going to chop Ed Sedar's arm off if the Brewers run into another out. Might not be his fault this time, but somebody's limb has to go soon.
-
What about windmill Ed Sedar? If I see another guy run to third when the center fielder already has the ball in his hand, I'm going to lose it.
-
You just had to have this feeling after Thorn came out that Axford would pitch at some point in the game. Putting him in with the winning run at the plate, then the winning run on base was a stupid idea. I also can't stand the base running. There can't be a team that runs into more outs than the Brewers.
-
Good strikeout by W00Ten. Segura's steal of home surprisingly worked out better than the time he tried stealing second twice.
-
Gomez... Haha I'll take it, but maybe running on the grass and hitting the first baseman 's glove isn't the best idea next time.

ESPN doesn't have much journalistic credibility after the Duke Lacrosse debacle. -
Weeks is really slow.

I have a theory on Soto. He makes it easier for the ump to call a ball because he has so much movement when framing a pitch. He'll frame strikes and move it to the middle as well as balls, so it's one big mess with him catching back there.
