Just to clarify and remind, no one (Brian or anyone else) said anything about boycotting all things Fox, Rupert Murdoch, etc.; just Fox Sports, which encompasses foxsports.com and FSN.

Shame on Toby and his dearth of anatomical knowledge. Fixed it.

It may be a mistake, but it's mocking and trivializing a serious medical condition that significantly affects many people's lives. And neither he nor FOX have apparently issued any sort of apology or correction after receiving numerous complaints about it, which makes it all that more disgusting. People are right to be outraged.

It's actually easier than you might think to set your blog up for RSS. Just go into the 'Settings' for your blog, click on the 'Site Feed' tab, and change 'Allow Blog Feeds' from 'None' to 'Full.' That's all there is to it.

Goodbye latest paycheck, I hardly knew you.

I'd allow some sketchy dude to remove one of my kidneys with a rusty steak knife in an alley behind a skeazy bar and sell it on the black market if it meant I could live in San Diego; or better yet, La Jolla.

To hell with Fox Sports. Bob and Jim are better anyways.

It would be insulting to even pretend that any of the other names in this competition are remotely close to the level of awesomeness that is Arquimedes Euclides Caminero.

Somewhat disappointed by the fact that I wasn't at all mentioned in the conversation. But that's some really great publicity and we owe a great deal of thanks to Jim and Adam for making the effort to acknowledge us.

This thread needs more Narveson love. 3.2 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 4 K, 1 BB today. Bringing his Spring Training ERA to a cool 0.57

I didn't think it was possible to blow a save in the fourth inning, but apparently Narveson did.

Yeah, Rick Helling was impaled (non-throwing arm) with a broken bat when he was with Nashville in 2005.

And we're done. nBo, try to show a little more restraint and judiciousness with bold text. Everyone else, try to refrain from mocking each other.

Sorry, there's no favorite feature. You'll just have to sift through the threads, looking for my posts the old-fashioned way, Al.

Just for comparison, here's a promotion that's not in such good taste: Macon Music Announce Eliot Spitzer Night The Macon Music announced today that the team will host "Eliot Spitzer" Night on Friday, June 13th 2008 when the Music play host to the Aiken Foxhounds. During "Eliot Spitzer" Night, the following elements will exist: 1. The Music have extended an invitation for former New York Governor Spitzer to be on hand and throw out the first pitch 2. The team will give away a New York Vacation including a one night stay at the MayFlower Hotel 3. Client #9 (or fan #9) will receive a free Music prize pack 4. Any fan with the name Eliot, Spitzer, or "Kristen" along with any fan from New York will receive $1 off admission 5. The Music will play Frank Sinatra music throughout the evening in honor of New York 6. Wire Taps will be placed throughout the ballpark this evening 7. ATMs will be available for cash withdrawals not to exceed $5,000 per hour 8. Any fan who has resigned their position will be given $1 off admission 9. The 871 fan will receive a gift certificate for the Macon Music Team store.

Off to the left side, next to each of the user's posts, there should be a little 'Interact' drop-down menu with an option to 'Ignore User's Posts.'

It was Jeff Cirillo who pitched against us with Arizona last season.

Nah, it's just the thing where WYSIWYG and bbcode don't represent line spacing the same way. And so when a post made with WYSYWYG is edited with bbcode (and vice versa), the spacing gets all out of whack. So, if I want to edit something without it looking crazy, I have to switch editors to do it.

The drop down menu at the top always works. The ones at the bottom only work when viewing a thread, but not when viewing a forum; and even then, they're pretty sporadic. The menu under each user also works sometimes, but there's no apparent rhyme or reason as to when or where. I've got Safari 3.0.4 on OS 10.4.11 And then there's the issue of bouncing back and forth between post editors and the whole line spacing thing.
