Jim Kaat referring to Rockies fan tears as "purple rain" - what a time to be alive!
-
Don't use Jeffress with a 5-run lead, Craig, please!
-
Who needs Machado/Realmuto? Brewers SS/C are offensive powerhouses!
-
Burnes at 23 pitches, I'd almost just let him go for 3.0 IP rather than add yet more innings to Jeffress' workload
-
Almost roped that foul down the line for a 2-run double
-
Multiple line drives in this series that have gone straight to infielders. Great shifting intel!
-
I agree. Maybe it's hubris but with the bottom part of the Rockies order coming up I wouldn't mind Burnes or even Guerra to avoid giving Hader/Jeffress even more work.
-
I thought he looked like he stopped caring about 2 weeks ago.
-
Is that rule still in effect for the playoffs? Seems like it shouldn't be
-
Well that's very concerning...
-
Soria here, does that mean they're going to use Burnes in the 7th, or try to let Hader go 2.0?
-
Great inning for a Rockies offense that is already totally demoralized
-
I'd have Kratz steal home here.
-
Granderson is a veteran balk-drawer
-
My goodness, Kratz!!!
-
I just don't see the need to constantly hate on the Brewers players every time a single play doesn't go perfectly. We can agree to disagree, nobody is stopping you from posting.

Jeffress: "Oh god, not this Frosty Boys thing again..."
-
Do you take Knebel out after one batter if his spots comes up in the order with two men on base?
-
I just write it down to the stress of being in the playoffs. Lots of negativity in these game threads considering we are up two games to nothing and haven't been trailing this postseason
-
I would have left Miley in there for one more out with the pitcher's spot up fifth next inning.
-
With two outs? I have never seen a runner wait on first in my life.
-
That seems impossible. Runners are sprinting at full speed on contact, they cannot follow the ball that closely.
