Sign him to play 1b, 3b and be the hitting coach. Maybe he can fix yelich and JBJ.
-
Defense or not, a guy with an era approaching 5 doesn’t work for this team.
-
How long do we keep starting jbj? honest question. I think Corey ray might even hit Better than him currently. He’s a defensive sub in a playoff race, at this point.
-
Then they’d have to pitch around Castellanos too and pitch to Votto and Suarez with two men on base. Castellanos has multiple holes in his swing and doesn’t play like babe Ruth and Barry bonds super child against the brewers as winker does. give him solo hrs with a lead but you need to give him some free passes to set up double plays, etc.
-
Can we not pitch to winker these first two games? It would seem like we never pitch around anyone, which is fine for the three guys who are almost unhittable in the rotation.
-
Do we know if burnes is ready for the bright lights yet? Has anyone checked?
-
I think I’m to the point I don’t to see hiura around anymore this year. time for a change of scenery trade. You’d have to think this is one of his last games, at least for awhile.
-
Looks like the pen is gonna have to eat up some innings. Hopefully we can get a couple more decent relievers soon.
-
That yelich…. So hot right now! Barf
-
Looks like hiura has tied up woodruff in the era/ batting average competition. I’d personally like to see a “duel of the fates” montage in great vs. suck
-
yeah let’s just not insert Lauer randomly anymore. Give him consistent starts or don’t, very hard to succeed in this role.
-
If they let him hit from behind the plate his OBP should be amazing!
-
I feel like our crappy offense benefits greatly from the extra innings rule! I’ll take it
-
They have to do something about the lack of offense. I absolutely love Pitching but good lord this is like soccer now without the players being in shape.
-
Reportedly hiura is mad that woodruff’s era is lower than his batting average, he’s aiming to close that gap today. Not sure if that should be in blue or not..
-
Very positive developments in the approach at the plate. I do believe a streak is coming on, and not the version no one wants to see.
-
Ok, hiura can go back down and we can trade for cron.
-
I used to think we were one reliever and one bat away… maybe I should do stand up comedy
-
I see we’re trying to add no hitter to our terrible hitting resume. Well played guys! I guess at least it’s against some one decent …
-
Can we start using hader and Williams more so the rust comes off? Ugh. Got lucky there
-
As Fred durst once screamed, “you gotta have faith!”
-
it’s so nice to see good abs. I mean, not from JBJ but you can’t win em all
-
Well it appears we have a few innings from the clown bullpen. Hey, at least our middle relievers are better than the rockies
-
Am I missing something? Was winker a huge prospect? This is getting ridiculous
-
It’s nice being able to enjoy a game... hopefully Peralta pitches to contact so we don’t have multiple innings from our lovely middle relief
