  1. Hey that ball looks familiar!! You looking for straight cash, or a trade acceptable of some sort?
  2. I've decided to begin clearing out a bunch of things that I do not have space for, and jerseys are first up on the list. I thought I'd gauge interest here first before I use other routes to sell off the jerseys. I'm not really looking to trade, more looking to sell than anything. If anyone is interested, I live in Racine and would consider meeting up if need be. Feel free to contact me at tnweill@yahoo.com, thanks. Prices are negotiable. 3. My friend mentioned this girl while at a game a month ago. As we were filing out and waiting by our car to get out of the lot, he sees her, runs up to her and tried making conversation... all I remember is she's from the Appleton area and has season tix by herself apparently.
  4. I'm also looking for a pair on Saturday if anyone has them.
  5. Anyone have info on when Axford is signing at the Brewers Clubhouse? I wanna say it's 8/18, but I can't find anything online about it to save my life... If someone finds a link, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
  6. I know I've got an extra powder blue gorman thomas from the '82 series if you'd be interested in trading for that. Or if you want your CC from last year back that I apparently didn't need from you! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  7. How much for 2010 Aaron & CC, and an Axford shipped to Racine?
  8. I just ordered 3 tickets an hour ago and we got the Disability seats in the back of the section of 206, the best available in the loge section, so I don't think there are too many left.
  9. I'd be interested also, not sure what it looks like precisely though... any chance of a pic?
  10. Yeah, I snagged an extra one if anyone is up for trading it for either the Stitch 'N Pitch Bernie or Odorizzi next week. I was disappointed it wasn't an actual figure as well, oh well. I actually am looking for the Fielder bobble from Nashville this year as well in addition to the Yount & CC bobbles from this year.
  11. I probably will... I'm looking to possibly trade it for the Stitch-N-Pitch Bernie or Odorrizzi next week.
  12. IF anyone is going up there, would anybody be willing to pick up a bag tag from the gift shop for me? I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks, Todd
  13. From today's running blog of the game: Ryan Braun slapped a leadoff double to right. Casey McGehee reached on a grounder up the middle that Jeff Keppinger couldn't get a handle on. It was ruled a hit. Jonathan Lucroy hit a tapper to short for the first out, but it scored Braun from third and moved McGehee to second. McGehee was aggressive on the bases, taking third on a wild pitch that got away from Castro a little too far. McGehee's good secondary lead made that happen, however, McGehee tried to retreat on a grounder to third base that ended up on the line. Johnson fielded it and as he dove across the line, McGehee had to jump over him, but Johnson already had the ball and "tagged" McGehee. Replay showed it was a phantom tag and McGehee got back to third safely by stepping over Johnson, a la Allen Iverson in the NBA Finals after hitting a three against the Lakers I found this funny as I had no clue what Tony was talking about again as usual.
  14. I heard that the 40th Anniversary guys will only be signing for kids 14 & under, just like the regular Autograph Fridays are now. They guys at Waukesha Sportscards told me this yesterday... Robb said he had talked to the Brewers to see what their policy would be, and it's apparently only going to be kids again for these signings too. Which pretty much sucks considering I'm working on 2 team pieces from 1982 and Gorman doesn't do any other signings anymore...
  15. FWIW, I was up there to see the new stadium last weekend when the Gophers played the first game there. The concourses are extremely tight compared to Miller Park. And I'd advise having tickets in hand instead of waiting at one of the ticket lines. It's one huge cluster because it's right near the entrances and the lines were intersecting w/each for purchasing tickets and to get into the stadium. Something really nice is that the train runs right past the field, and will drop you off 20 feet from an entrance, very nice! We didn't do too much walking around the neighborhood, but it looked like there are a decent number of bars / restaurants around.
  16. Thanks for the heads up, just ordered my set now!
  17. BrewerSuperCollector -- I didn't even know what was going on w/Vaughn. I just happened to to be standing by the main stage where their entrance was. Look up, thought to myself, "hey that's Greg Vaughn!!" I don't think he was too pleased that I caught him as he was a half step from not having to sign anything else for the time being. That might've even been you , BSC, that I said that to after he left. I originally want Gorman on the brick, but I'm more than happy to get anyone on it.
  18. This was the first time I went since the very first event they had at Mller Park several years ago. No way I would've went if we couldn't have waited inside, since I got there a little before 7. I thought it went pretty well, though I didn't know what was always going on at certain times - this cost me Cirillo & Gorman Thomas autographs! But I did walk away with: - Hoffman signed hat w/"hells bells" - Greg Zaun sweetspot baseball - Tim Dillard w/2008 Brewers sweetspot baseball - David Riske w/2008 Brewers sweetspot baseball - Hernan Iribarren & Claudio Vargas added to my 2008 team jersey - Greg Vaughn signed County Stadium brick - Larry Hisle signed bat - Brian Anderson sweetspot baseball - Rick Schlesinger signed event ticket, priceless!! Almost the perfect day, only wanted Gorman on a brick and Ed Sedar on a ball to complete my 2008 individual signed baseball collection.
  19. I've been to the last two at Gonzaga Hall in West Allis. I know there are a decent amount of vendors w/*signed* 8x10's. A friend of mine who I used to work with actually should have a lot of unsigned 8x10's. I'm sure he'd be there since there's no Packer game.
  20. $60 for the bricks. The guy who sold them let me have the crate he used to bring them, so only one trip thankfully!
  21. Well this was a fun and expensive weekend! Not really knowing what to expect going in with this being the first time I've been to a show like this, I didn't really have a plan on what I was looking for. I was surprised with the amount of repetition that all of the dealers had there. I guess that's to be expected though. I spent the majority of the night on Friday sitting in autograph lines, so I didn't have too much time looking at the vendors' items. I have a print of old Sportsman's Park in St. Louis that I had Bob Gibson, Bruce Sutter, Orlando Cepeda, Lee Smith, and Steve Carlton sign down there. I'm planning on having Schoendienst sign it next month too. It's the only item I've got that is Cardinals-related, so even though Smith & Sutter didn't play a game there, I'm going to try and get as many of the bigger names to play for STL to sign it over time. Other things I got signed down there: - Rollie Fingers game-used 1982 cleats - Rollie Fingers on a 1982 Champagne bottle - Fingers added to 1982 W.S. team ball - Fingers on a County Stadium brick - Fingers 1981 All Star ball (2) - Steve Carlton HOF ball (signed it upside down on sweetspot) - Orlando Cepeda ball Here's what else I picked up down there: - Bobby Thomson & Ralph Branca signed 11x14 "Shot Heard 'Round the World" photo - Enos Slaughter signed 11x14 "Mad Dash" photo - Paul Hornung signed 16x20 photo - Mark DiFelice ball - Angel Salome ball - Mike Maddux ball - Ned Yost ball - Mike Rivera ball - 20 County Stadium bricks - 2002 Futures Game ball - 1987 All Star ball - 1988 All Star ball - 1992 All Star ball Photos of everything, plus some awesome Braves jerseys: http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b358/tnweill/Sun%20Times%20Show%20Nov%2009/
  22. Anybody heading down to Chicago for the Sun-Times / Mounted Memories Show this weekend? I have never been to a show anywhere close to this magnitude, so I hope I'm not overwhelmed at it. I'm going tonight and tomorrow afternoon to get some signatures of the old Cardinals players - Cepeda, Gibson, Carlton, and Sutter. I've got a pretty cool looking lithograph of old Sportsman's Park that I'd like to get as many of the big names on it. It seems like most of the signing tickets are rather reasonable for the 'roll-back' signers. I'd really like to get a ball signed by Randy Johnson on Saturday, but $150 is just a wee bit steep for me, hah! tony2sweet, I didn't see your post until just now, but Rollie Fingers will be signing tonight at the show -- $20 for any item, plus 1 free inscription. That's a good deal for him.
  23. Fine, I'll bite. Anything else you're looking to move?
  24. I've been passively looking for it, where'd you find it?
