  3. I was asked to go on a fishing trip to Canada next week out of the clear blue yesterday. The problem is, I don't have a passport and obviously wouldn't be able to get one issued in time. I've tried to search to see if I do in fact need a passport to enter Canada and then re-enter the U.S., but haven't found an answer. Would I be able to get by with a birth certificate or picture ID? I've heard conflicting answers on this, so I'm looking for some help here! Thanks.
  4. I have an extra Gallardo bobblehead from Beloit if your previous trade falls through.
  5. Anybody know if CC has signed in the players' parking lot at all this year?
  6. I'll take the Manny Parra ball for 12 bucks.
  7. Luke, sorry to hear about your loss. Nobody likes to go through that, best of luck with everything.
  8. I was also a recipient of a pair of tickets to last Sunday's game and was very appreciative of the kind gesture. It was a great game to watch w/a great atmosphere. I think my dad had a blast and I know I did. Thank you very much.
  9. Dave Ragone? Stefan Lefors?
  10. I got mine from Jeff's Sports a year ago for $20.
  11. Can someone please clarify this for me... Would Yo have to be on the active roster by 8/31 in order to be allowed to participate in postseason play? Or since he's on the DL, he would still be able to make an appearance in late September and then still pitch in October? Man, I'm getting way ahead of myself here thinking of this being even a remote possibility!
  12. More info from Will Carroll on Gallardo at Baseball Prospectus: In all the hype surrounding the impending C.C. Sabathia trade, there are a few interesting injury notes. Sabathia comes in as the No. 2 starter for the Brewers, taking over the spot they thought Gallardo would be filling, except that Gallardo's currently out after surgery to repair his ACL. there was some discussion that he could be back before the end of the season, and while it sounded crazy at the time, the Brewers may have something here. Gallardo is already throwing from 45 feet and could be back by September. It's a long shot, but the idea of Gallardo slotting in, perhaps even in the bullpen, is intriguing. It will be difficult to build up his arm strength enough to move him right into the rotation, and the team usually looks to the long term, but Gallardo did heal quickly from his spring knee surgery. There's a chance we'll see him again in 2008, but this is almost completely dependent on whether Sabathia is the difference maker that the Brewers think he is.
  13. Agent39, please tell us we're not getting rid of Brantley. Please!
  14. Please count me in to witness a hopefully Mota-less ballgame! You're a gentleman and a scholar, indeed!
  15. Nope. The Brewers seem to be giving away one per year around the 4th of July for the past three years. Most likely next year will be the Brat and then year after, the Italian. Or vice versa. There are full size versions that are made by Forever Collectibles, but those aren't SGA's.
  16. I've got an extra blue Lyle Overbay I'd trade for one. It's the only extra retro I've got. If interested, let me know.
  17. A lot of the stuff that Legends of the Field has vastly overrated. With that said, they do have some good stuff that you don't see anywhere else on a consistent basis. I'm a sucker for panoramic pictures and really like the Andy Goralski prints. There's no way I'd pay the regular price from their own website, but they eventually put them up on ebay and they are pretty respectible prices, I'd say. I've also gotten a couple of those Steiner display cases from them also.
  18. I didn't think they were booing Bush for walking the guy. I took it as the crowd was mad that Zaun didn't swing at a rather close pitch. I sure hope to God they weren't booing Booshy!
  19. Would you be interested in any of the bobbles from the past couple of years?
  20. I'd also like to throw my name in the ring here... I've got/will have an extra Gallardo from Beloit that I'd trade plus maybe an add'l bobble if need be. If interested, let me know. Thanks.
  21. I've got a Gagne bobble from the Las Vegas 51's if you'd be interested. I really have no clue how much it's worth, but, I'd rather have a Braun sga than Gagne at this point.
  22. Crap... I've already got all of the little guys already. Thanks though.
  23. Pretty sure I've got an extra Oglivie from last year if you'd consider trading it for the Braun from Sunday.
