  1. And younger, and if he enjoys it here maybe we keep him for another year at 2b! Always been a fan of real deal Neil walker
  2. Solid move, huge Walker fan, hope he can stay healthy the rest of the season. He was a solid bat in Pittsburgh,it was a terrible move for them to trade him to the Mets.
  3. I dont really care how this season ends. They started off this season, in my eyes, with no real shot at competing (which is why they got the likes of Oliver and Feliz in the BP in the offseason), and yet they've competed the entire year thus far. If they continue to fall off a cliff this and next month my optimism for the future wont change. if anything, I am FAR more optimistic about the future!
  4. LETS DO THIS!!!!
  5. nothing like coming home to a hot plate of Bartolo Colon tonight!
  6. you looking for work, Bombers? LOL, were struggling to fill an analytics position on my team at work
  7. is bunting even tracked, publicly? I know internally, teams track that, but do fangraph or BR keep a log? So unless you or I had access to that data, I think its extremely difficult for us to really "analyze" its success outside of what we remember or track ourselves.
  8. his OBP since June 1 is actually .355. his slash has been .308/.355/.827
  9. Boom baby!!! Aww yeah!!!!
  10. Wow what a heads up play by Pina and arcia, impressive as fffffff
  11. I dont think ive read anywhere else but here that Hader is a future BP arm...
  12. I'm not entirely certain he's a rotation guy long-term, I could see him being the long-arm out of the bullpen and spot starter in future years. His cadence is what keeps people off balance. Once they get comfortable with his quick pace they'll pounce.
  13. he'll be a starter next year. Regardless of the success this year, I dont think our rotation is "locked" up beyond Nelson, Anderson and Davies (baring any year end implosions). his "stuff" is better than everyone else in the rotation. Nelson Anderson Davies ___ ___
  14. im surprised he's gone to ANY other stadium... 35 games at wrigley is still an impressive number, until you realize that is essentially 1 game a year since his streak started in 1981, lol.
  15. I think if Milwaukee is within striking distance of the cubs and ARI/COL, you'll see them raid the AAA roster. Their AAA playoff run does not trump the MLB push for the playoffs.
  16. he was blocking the plate as a result of catching the ball, he didnt have time to react
  17. regardless of what happens, Keon > Kirk. If Brinson is sent down, so be it, not really too upset.
  18. Nelson has that location thing goin tonight, feelin' it tonight
  19. I'm convinced you're the dude in my signature with a new account
