  1. Lol Bob is a mess.
  2. I’m a fan of this. We didn’t give up the house. We got a good baseball player that shouldn’t affect the ability to play Urias and/or Tellez. This is a win as it gets us even deeper on the infield. Now get after it Eduardo!
  3. Boy, the Yelich hyperbole is getting a bit much. I get being disappointed with him but he’s still been valuable for us.
  4. I wouldn’t bank on anything from Topa. If he gets us anything it’s gravy. Grab a guy having success this season.
  5. he was asked specifically about that. it's sped up to condense time. Don't think Rodgers talks this fast He keeps saying he wants to be a part of conversations. The key is he fine when the decision isn't what he wants. Woodson was a mistake to not keep but man his other examples and his reasoning for keeping this guy's is sentimental at best but not how to run a team. Yeah, his wanting to keep certain players is like me hoping Braun is taking a lot of BP right now getting ready to return. Is it in the best interest of the team? Probably not. Especially in football where age catches you so quickly. But I appreciate his perspective on why he thinks the way he does. I can understand it.
  6. Yeah, he did not make a great case for being a smart guy with player personnel. It was great he provided context around much of the off-season but boy, he’s been dead wrong a lot with players.
  7. If it is that overpaid, why haven't they pulled the trigger on it?
  8. Just hand them the divisional banner already. I mean, they were already better than the Brewers, and adding 3-relievers only makes Stearns look like a complete clown.
  9. Bryant makes sense because you can move him all over. Gallo too. Those guys I’d be fine with because you’re not simply taking one position away from a guy we already have playing well.
  10. I don’t think anyone really knows until it’s over.
  11. I love how athletic our infield is. I like that it is controlled as well. They have spunk. They’re young and I don’t want to move that. Even Rowdy looks more athletic than his body type. He’s 26 and isn’t a FA until 2025. Wong is the only one that after next season, he will be gone. At that point I’d think Urias would slide there and we’d be on the search for a 3B.
  12. Boy would I dislike this. I would hate this move a lot.
  13. Why not all of the above? Would seem to be reasonable to do without having to give up everything. Because I’m really starting to like the addition of Rowdy at 1B. I like Urias at 3B. And I don’t think either Wong or Adames could be upgraded. With Yelich, Cain, Garcia with Taylor and JBJ I’m probably good there too as it’d be hard to trade one of those guys to get an upgrade. Not only that but the Brewers have been scoring over 5 runs a game since the Adames trade. To me, that doesn’t warrant a panic move of getting rid of more home grown talent that will be cheap and controllable. If they could make minor moves to improve bench options and their pen/SP depth, I think that might be the best thing for them this year and longer term.
  14. I’m really starting to wonder if a big splash bat is even needed. They might want to focus on even more pitching and a bench bat(s) that can help them later in games.
  15. Averaging 4.9 runs per game in July through 20 games. Plenty of time to get that over 5.
  16. Anderson felt bad so he joined in on the action. Now 14 of 14!
  17. Anderson has his ERA down to 3.86 on the season. Many years he’d be our ace.
  18. How can you definitely say you were within 6 feet of someone for 15 minutes or more? Tough to be definitive with that.
  19. How do you get hurt before practice?
