  1. If the Brewers just play .500 baseball from here on out they will have a record of 87-75, one game above what they finished a season ago.
  2. Now hopefully he can give us a 6th and save the pen a bit.
  3. I hear ya, man. Giving players two - OR MORE! - days off per season is total BS. He's counting playoff and World Series games in that number, so it's closer to 175. Remember how tired the Cubs looked last season after their World Series win? [sarcasm]Well, Stearns and Counsell have planned for that.[/sarcasm]
  4. I don't doubt that he can hit major league pitching but I do doubt that he will sustain what he has done over the last month or so. But to answer your question, I suppose towards July if he's still doing what he's doing, or close to it, my doubts will probably go by the wayside.
  5. The Diamondbacks are trash and I am glad we are treating them that way. Pile it on!
  6. Nice to see a short stroke instead of a mammoth swing that would've probably ended up in a K
  7. He may be out but this is one of those replays where how can you tell for sure to overturn it? And they didn't. Good!
  8. Bandy just earned another month in the bigs. ....but doesn't take 3rd on that misplay on the bunt.
  9. I'll say this about Suter, the man just competes. He gives everything he's got and that is a breath of fresh air at times. Now let's go get him some runs!
  10. Saladino looks like he's never seen a curveball before.
  11. Might want to think about an early entry for Woodruff today.
  12. Probably just adjusting the lineup so Braun can lead off tomorrow.
  13. Acquiring Swihart (if you believe he can catch) allows you to keep Nottingham where he belongs, catching every day in AAA. It brings that versatility that is nice to have out of a backup catcher. But we also have another in-house candidate in Bethancourt that might work as a backup too. Oh, and Travis Shaw was one of those Red Sox prospects at one point.
  14. Thismight be why he's not been moved yet. Granted it is early but if they think they're getting back top prospects, they are nuts. This guy will rot at the end of their bench before that happens.
  15. The lineup came across my screen and my first reaction is that I don't even want to watch today, knowing that I 100% will.
  16. For me, I've just wanted to see Pina in the backup role if we could acquire a guy like Realmuto. You can't tell me that this team wouldn't be better off with Realmuto catching 100-110 games while Pina catches 50-65. We all know what it would take to get Realmuto so this probably isn't super realistic anyways. Pina is a nice catcher and I'm really hoping he can continue his success at the plate because it makes him that much more valuable.
